Vibe coded apps are so unmaintainable that you can only maintain them using AI. Maybe AI knows very well what it’s doing 🥲

5 surefire ways to solve a bug in any program: - eat lunch - sleep on it - talk with a family member about anything else - make a coffee and drink it in another room - go for a walk 3 ways to not solve a bug: - stare at your screen - press through it - work late on it

@donnfelker I just get fantastic beans that I love and make it in my own espresso press and it's even better. No sweetener needed.

Caffeine increases focus & productivity. Problem is most people get sugary drinks that cause them to crash an hour later. Here’s a simple hack- Medium coffee (hot/iced), a couple shots of sugar-free vanilla syrup, add monkfruit extract. Sweet without the crash or calories.

GitHub Copilot has got to be the most useless AI tool ever. It’s so useless it is infuriating. It’s torture trying to make it work after vibe coding with Cursor all day. I’m fuming right now.

@JorgeCastilloPr My thoughts exactly. I've been under the impression that it is a desperate marketing act to recapture the solo limelight they once had.

Big AI players keep announcing new models on a frenzy fight for marketing. I wonder if those models are really *that better* than the previous one, or they are just simply forced to announce them right now.

@Zhuinden That was also a problem with the `View` navigation component. Nice to see that remediated.

@JorgeCastilloPr Huh, looks like they're going back to 2008-style design with these icons. Not necessarily bad. Everything comes full circle.

This new AirBnB icons don’t even look sharp. They are blurry on an iPhone 16 pro.

@JorgeCastilloPr That's one of my problems with things like this. It usually appeals to half of the market at best.

I’ve discussed KMP with a lot of iOS devs for a long time. Basically none of them wanted to move part of their codebase to Kotlin. They dont want to learn a new language, lose their tooling, deal with multiplatform complexity. KMP sounds cool as an idea, but yeah.

Recently I was targeted by an extremely sophisticated phishing attack, and I want to highlight it here. It exploits a vulnerability in Google's infrastructure, and given their refusal to fix it, we're likely to see it a lot more. Here's the email I got:

Does anyone else feel like you should be able to stop seeing ads for a company the moment you pay them for their services? e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud. I'm entitled to never see an ad from Adobe again.
