You Don't Want Accountability. You Want Control." – A Message to VeryDarkman's H8tars
Enough dancing. Enough excuses. Enough of the "we're just trying to understand" garbage.
You understand perfectly. You see exactly what VDM is doing. You watch him shake tables, expose rot, and refuse to bow. And still, you choose to l|€ – not to anyone else, but to yourselves.
So let's say it plain: this isn't concern. This isn't patriotism. This is selective outrage, dressed in clean linen and fake moral authority.
Nigeria loves to scream, "Change!" Like a drunken chant. But what most of you really want is comfort. A nice, polite, suit-wearing version of reform that never steps on your toes, never asks for your receipts, and never – God forbid – gets its hands dirty.
VDM doesn't do polite. And that's why you're terrified.
While you sit in air-conditioned echo chambers, polishing your reputations and crafting passive-aggressive tweets, VDM is in the mud. In the heat. In the actual mess of this country. He's not theorizing Nigeria – he's fighting it. With bare knuckles.
And that terrifies the fragile egos who thought they owned the fight.
So what do you do? You manufacture. You twist. You l|€.
He meets the Defense Minister? Suddenly, it's "shady."
He runs an NGO? Suddenly, everyone is a forensic god.
He makes a financial move? Oh, now you care about transparency.
Every step is dissected – not because you love truth, but because you h8éee him. You h8éee that he didn't ask for your permission. You h8éee that he doesn't need your approval. And you h8éee, most of all, that he's winning.
Now let's talk about your pathetic hypocrisy.
We've watched so-called "activists" turn themselves into politicians. We've watched them milk donation links dry – no accountability, no audits, no follow-ups. Where is your outrage then? Where are your "investigations"? Where is the energy?
Silence. Dead, cowardly silence.
So spare us the performance. Spare us the fake concern. If accountability is your religion, then preach it to everyone. If transparency is your sword, swing it everywhere. But don't come after one man just because he doesn't fit your precious image of a leader.
Because that's what this really is. Say it aloud:
VDM isn't being attacked because he's wrong.
He's being attacked because he's effective.
Because he's unstoppable.
Because he doesn't bow to your little narrative-controlling cabal.
And that? That bruises your fragile, overfed egos.
Let's stop lying: you're not angry at his actions. You're angry because he's doing what you couldn't. And worse – he's doing it without you.
So here's the question, and don't dodge it this time:
What the hell do you people actually want?
Results? Then shut up and acknowledge them.
Accountability? Then demand it from your sacred cows too.
Or do you just want a version of change that keeps you comfortable, relevant, and in control?
Because Nigeria will not move forward on your bruised egos, your class bias, or your selective indignation.
Nigeria will move forward when you stop gatekeeping who gets to drive the car. Until then, all your noise is just that – noise. Loud, recycled, spineless, and completely useless.
Now shut up, or step up. The rest of us are done waiting
