The Labour Party will be holding its Presidential primary on May 29, 2027, but as I write this now, nobody has purchased the ₦50 million nomination and expression of interest forms. This was the party that was on the lips of almost every Nigerian in 2022 and 2023 because of Peter Obi. Many people denied that Obi doesn't have influence, but every day we keep seeing the evidence. Peter Obi left the Labour Party, and the party faded immediately. The only thing that is keeping the party alive today is Governor Alex Otti of Abia State. Meanwhile, I have been expecting to see Baba Lamidi Apapa purchase the presidential ticket and contest under the Labour Party, as he was everywhere claiming to be the rightful owner or chairman of the party. Where is Julius Aburi? Everything has it's expiration date. They have been used and dropped. Labour Party will go into the 2027 general election without presidential candidate? 😆

PRESS RELEASE OYO STATE POLICE COMMAND COMMENCES MASSIVE MANHUNT OVER ORIIRE SCHOOL ABDUCTION INCIDENT The Oyo State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that it has commenced an intensive manhunt and rescue operation following a coordinated attack carried out by armed hoodlums on some schools and surrounding communities within Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State in the early hours of today, Friday 15th May, 2026. Preliminary investigation reveals that the assailants, who operated on motorcycles, simultaneously attacked Baptist Nursery and Primary School, Yawota as well as Community Grammar School/L.A Primary School, Esiele, abducting some pupils, students and staff members including the Vice Principal, Mrs. Alamu Folawe. It is important to state that as at the time of filing this report, no pupil or student has been confirmed killed during the incident. Sadly, one Assistant Headmaster identified as Mr. Adesiyan was killed during the attack. In a related development, an okada rider who reportedly resisted attempts by the attackers to forcefully take his motorcycle was also shot dead. The Command further gathered that Community Grammar School, Esiele operates within the same premises with L.A Primary School, Esiele. The attackers, after abducting some victims, also took away a Toyota Corolla vehicle belonging to the abducted Vice Principal and later set the vehicle ablaze along the road leading to the forest. Following the incident, the Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Police Command, CP Abimbola Ayodeji Olugbenga, psc, mnips, immediately led operatives alongside other service commanders to the scene for on-the-spot assessment and operational coordination, while simultaneously directing a comprehensive manhunt for the perpetrators. Operational assets, tactical teams and intelligence platforms have since been deployed to the affected communities to prevent any further breakdown of law and order, ensure public safety and facilitate the rescue of the abducted victims as well as the apprehension of those responsible for the heinous act. The Command assures residents that intensive operations are ongoing and urges members of the public to remain calm, vigilant and supportive by providing timely and credible information that could aid the investigation and rescue efforts. For Emergencies, Contact: Oyo State Call Response Center Toll-Free Line: 615. Oyo State Police Command Control Room: 08081768614 & 07055495413. E- SIGNED DSP AYANLADE OLAYINKA anipr, Mnisma Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) 15th May, 2026.

Instead of urgently setting up operations to hunt down the terrorists responsible for the attack in Yobe State, the focus now appears to be on tracking the soldiers who leaked information about what happened. As a serving soldier, this should make you reflect on the kind of system you are risking your life for. Personnel lose their lives in deadly attacks, yet energy is allegedly being directed more toward silencing leaks than ensuring justice for fallen troops and preventing another tragedy. The lives of soldiers should matter more than protecting reputations or political narratives. Citizens deserve the truth, and the fallen deserve accountability and action not silence.

MTN is a major player no doubt, but saying removing MTN will cripple Nigerian telecommunication sector is some kind of joke. It's already a joke having MTN in Nigeria this 2026. Remove those scammers let's suffer and build once. It worked in Oil sector, it will work in Telecommunication.

I just watched the video where Senator Adams Oshiomhole said Nigeria should nationalize MTN and withdraw its license so that a Nigerian company can take over MTN's business. I laugh. This Senator Adams Oshiomhole thinks MTN Group in South Africa will suffer. But it is actually Nigerians who will suffer more. • In 2025, MTN Nigeria paid a total of N419.91B dividends to Nigerian Shareholders — N104.98 interim and N314.93B final. • In 2025, MTN Nigeria paid N354B Tax to FIRS, more than what Dangote Cement paid at N347B • The chairman of the board of MTN Nigeria - Dr Ernest Ndukwe, OFR — 🇳🇬 • The CEO - Mr Karl Olutokun Toriola — 🇳🇬 • The CFO - Mr Modupe Kadri - 🇳🇬 Apart from the fact that MTN Nigeria is systematically important to 🇳🇬 economy, any nationalization of MTN or their asset by Nigeria will be the end of the telecommunications sector. In the same way, you greedy politicians klled the oil sector by squandering budgetted millions of dollars on non-functional oil refineries until Dangote came into the picture. Where is our oil refinery today? And you want to move to Telecommunication? You are JOKER. You have no business with MTN 's business And Nigerians must move against this bad idea.
