I’m absolutely shocked by what I’m seeing Europeans write on X right now. They’re preaching that Ukraine must “keep fighting” and that Trump’s peace plan is terrible. Where on earth are you fighting? In the restaurants of Paris and Vienna? Ukrainians are the ones fighting and dying. They are being grabbed off the streets in violation of every basic right and forced into a meat grinder. Half a million men have deserted. Zelensky and Yermak are drowning in corruption, and what has become public is barely 1% of what’s actually happening. Ukraine is a dictatorship. There is no political process, no elections, no freedom of speech. Anyone who disagrees is labeled a Kremlin agent and faces repression - even their families. What “continuation of the war” are you talking about? The EU has paid Russia €124 billion more for energy than it has given in aid to Ukraine. And you know perfectly well that Ukraine cannot defeat a military-state of 140 million people with nuclear weapons. This is pure hypocrisy. You want to use Ukraine to weaken Russia, fully aware that this will not end well for Ukraine. And you absolutely do not care about the Ukrainian people. Yes, we are not a successful country. We are corrupt, and half the population still has a Soviet mentality. But you are not even giving Ukraine a chance to bring a real leader to power - someone who could transform the country, make it democratic, capitalist, and prosperous. That is not beneficial to you. And you know perfectly well that Ukraine will never be accepted into NATO, yet you keep repeating this mantra. This is the globalist agenda - and it has no place for the happiness or future of Ukraine. Today, the only real hope left is President @realDonaldTrump and the United States. Common sense in Europe - with the exception of a few countries and leaders - is gone.

@CharlotteCGill I think it’s because people are crying out for a sense of belonging and Christmas takes us back to a time when we did. Belonging is one of our deepest needs.
