@ePLUS_Building Do you not export to autocad? Why not just export ro revit instead. Easy for all parties. Helps for better design coordination too.

@omo_hardabc We're up existen... An architect you can start and finish all ur work with Revit or ArchiCAD and print it from there.. But an engineer will not do the same with protastruture, you've have to export it after to edit it to suit ur Standard..

As an Engineer you can't boycott AutoCAD 😀😂 It's only An Architect that can boycott it... Working on Foundation layout with AutoCAD 💯🔥🦺

@9ja_mARCx @Head_91 That's the curriculum and honestly, it is justified. When you take the exam, you will realize that school did not do any serious justice to what practice actually is. Engineers, QSs etc also go the same route. Practice is very different from school and tutelage is very important

@Head_91 Why does it require another 2 years of tutelage after your Master's from an ARCON-accredited school before one can start processing for the seal? I'm sure someone can explain this clearly because I don’t understand why the system has made it so difficult for young architects.

@OloyeSomorin And there's that content guy on Facebook convincing people that it's cheaper to build a duplex than a bungalow.

I'm currently in the middle of raising my first storied building in Nigeria and here are my findings. The cost of decking is currently outrageous. My advice is that if applicable that you're better off financially by buying enough land that will fit a sprawling bungalow instead of buying a smaller land and having to build vertically. When it's all said and done the decking alone will consume N10M. A significant percentage of the total build. Good luck to all of us that are currently building during this climate. FYI…… Consultation fee: fee paid to speak with a lawyer and get legal opinion/advice. Appearance fee: fee paid to have a lawyer show up in court for you. Retainership: fee paid to a lawyer so he can always be on stand by for you. Once you pay this, you can call that lawyer in the night and he'd show up for you. (It's this fee that can make you say boldly "I HAVE A LAWYER" Don't mix them up

Chances are that a 19 year old in Nigeria does not know what a national census is. Canada is currently conducting a census and their last was in 2021. Nigeria's Last national census was in 2006. 20 years and our population has always been assumed.
