@ruth_hallows @dinosofos @seetickets That's what happens to us with seetickets when we try for Glastonbury. They do all the throttling etc to protect the servers but when you do get through it crashes on the card payment.

@LKidsalone @tombennett71 It is fine for them to skip school occasionally. Schools aren't the be-all-and-end-all of education and is frankly a tickbox of cherry picked things. Like all nonsense arguments it highlights cases of persistent continuous truency and then conflates that as being the same thing.

‘1 in 4 parents now think it’s fine for children to skip school’ is something you hope to never read. Lockdown broke the habit of attendance for many- lots of institutions have seen numbers decrease because of it, like churches. Schools need to work hard to get them back. But parents have a huge role here.
