Kris, My understanding is that we are all now ADC, regardless of our diverse backgrounds of APC, PDP, APGA, SDP, Obidient, Labour, Buhari Support Organisations, etc. My belief is that HE @PeterObi and the Obidient movement KNOW that we all, are #GreaterTogether. I believe that they also KNOW that no group can stand alone inside a union, and succeed. None! Just like we are not standing as separate BSO inside ADC, we are not expecting a standalone Obidient Movement inside of ADC. We are all ONE. We have only one house. Everyone who joins, live in that house and that house is ADC. No ifs, no buts! ADC, Arise. AD and C, Arise And Shine Nigeria.

Christians are being mass slaughtered in Nigeria. Thank you to President Trump for his strong leadership and action in responding to this crisis. I filed legislation to designate Nigeria for these atrocities, and the next steps are targeted sanctions on the government officials who create the environment for the mass murders and then fail to take action against the perpetrators.

@OsosaChris Try to carry out a holistic background check on whether the ex chief of Naval staff acquired the said land legally or not. In sane society, there are procedures in how to get the land from an illegal occupant. Court is the best approach.

Retired Vice Admiral Awwal Zunairu Gambo, the main character in the melee between the Minister of FCT, Wike and the young Naval officer, Yerima, is the chief culprit of the entire mess. Let’s separate objective facts from hate and sentiment: Ideal questions for Gambo to answer Do you have ministry approved land ownership documents? NO! Do you have approved building plan? NO! Do you have the right as retired officer to deploy serving military officers to your private uncompleted building property as guards? NO! Were you served notice of illegal ownership of the land? YES! Is the land in question meant for residential building? NO! Is it right to have hindered a serving Minister of FCT access to inspect a disputed land? NO! Should you have assigned a commissioned military officer to guard personal property like a house boy? NO! … Nigerians think in factual objectivity not through the vent of hate, anger, and emotion!

President Tinubu Is An Omoluabi. He Will Show Respect, But Won't Bow To Pressure! Asiwaju Bola Tinubu met with Alhaji Aminu Dantata on Friday, November 19, 2021, as a regular human being and bowed to him. Alhaji Dantata was 90 at the time. And then again, on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, he met Alhaji Dantata, this time as the President of Nigeria. The meeting took place at the Presidential Villa. And even as President of Nigeria, in the seat of power, the father of the nation, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, still bowed to Alhaji Dantata, who was then 93 years old. He has passed away now. May God rest his soul and grant him al Jannah Firdaus. I tell this story to show that President Tinubu can bow. But he does not bow before tyranny. After all, we are talking about a man who fought General Sani Abacha and troubled him with NADECO, which he funded, until Abacha died! The man is used to threats. He is no stranger to men with big guns, compensating for small body parts, and attempting to bully him. Did you watch him at yesterday's Federal Executive Council meeting? The man looked unperturbed and calm as he displayed a command presence. Notice I said a command presence, not a commanding presence. There is a difference. People in Nigeria and some abroad are about to see the power of stooping to conquer. That is the Omoluabi ethos! One thing I find interesting, and even admirable, about Lukumi Yoruba Muslims is that if their parents are an Alhaji or Alhaja, they will hardly call them Daddy or Mummy, or Baami, Maami or Iya mi. Instead, they will refer to their parents as Alhaji or Alhaja. Respect is key in the Southwest. I grew up with cousins who would not even dare look their parents in the face, especially their father, when talking to them. And I have witnessed where a lanky, small-framed father would slap his much bigger son, and the offspring would remark, e pele sir. President Obasanjo once testified that he did not know that his father had Owu tribal marks until his father died, and he was staring at his dad's corpse. Such is the level of respect. But that respect does not denote weakness. It is a gentlemanly quality that has helped the Lukumi preserve the order and equilibrium of their society. The reason the Yoruba are probably the most successful Black African people on the planet globally is because of their culture, which inculcates humility and respect for elders in them. Because humility allows you to learn, and when you learn a great deal, you earn a great deal and also rise to great heights. Any culture that deemphasises respect and humility limits its growth potential, because without humility, you reduce your ability to acquire mental acuity. You are also unable to stoop to conquer, which is the most effective non-lethal means of defeating the forces arrayed against you. And that inability forces you to be more aggressive, which is one of the least effective means of vanquishing your opponents. When you respect someone, you can expect it in return because you trigger the other person's ego, which makes you appear brighter in their eyes. For example, if you are introduced to someone called John Edwards, and you say, 'Good afternoon, Mr Edwards, it is a pleasure to meet you, sir, ' you are more likely to go far with that person than if you say, 'Hello John. ' That culture of respect, which stands out the Lukumi, and marks them out as a polite people, is what makes doors open to and for them worldwide. No matter where you go on Earth, you can defeat those hell bent on harming you if you have a charming disposition. And because President Tinubu understands and displays these attributes, I am more than certain that Nigeria is in good hands, and what some people think will bend and end Nigeria will only lend itself to our greatness. Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki
Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki@bukolasaraki·
PRESS RELEASE Saraki to Akpabio: Don't Politicise, Trivialise Call for Due Process in Senate Former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has described as "cheap politics and trivialising of a serious issue" the claim by incumbent Senate President, Godswill Akpabio that the call on him to ensure that transparent and open process is instituted to investigate the accusation levelled against him by one of his colleagues, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan is an attempt to remove a Niger Delta person from office. Saraki, in a statement signed by Yusuph Olaniyonu, the head of his media office in Abuja, urged Akpabio to read his press statement dated March 1st, 2025 very well to understand that there was nowhere he suggested the resignation of the Senate President. “Rather, he advised that Akpabio should act in the best interest of the legislative institution by ensuring that no reasonable person is left with any doubt about the fact that the allegations raised by the Senator were investigated and justifiably dispensed with. "The attention of the Abubakar Bukola Saraki Media Office has been drawn to the statement made by Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio while addressing the leaders of some “youth ethnic groups” on Friday that certain individuals from Kwara and Adamawa States want him removed because he is from the Niger Delta region. "Ordinarily, Dr. Saraki would have ignored the statement as a sign of the times in which we now live. However, its underlying motive of politicising and trivialising a serious issue that threatens the integrity, credibility, and importance of the legislature is the reason why we think we should not allow the Senate President to create a misleading impression of the issue at stake in the all-important institution that the National Assembly represents in our democracy. "Dr. Saraki in his last comment on the Akpabio-Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan crisis never called on the Senate President to resign or step aside. Rather, he urged the Senate President to be conscious of the fact that perception is reality and therefore he should avoid treating the allegations by the Senator in a manner that will create the perception that the Senate as an institution is trying to cover up issues bothering on sexual harassment, gender discrimination, and abuse of office. “Also, Dr. Saraki made it clear that his intervention was neither about Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan nor whether her claim was right or not. He stated that since the Senator has gone public with such serious allegations against the presiding officer, the image of the institution should be saved through an honest, sincere, open, transparent, and unbiased investigation. “In that press statement, he also pointed out that there are already existing processes recommended in the Constitution, laws of the land, Senate rules, conventions, and precedents to be followed in carrying out such investigation. “Again, Dr. Saraki is of the firm belief that his suggestions are for the benefit of the legislative institution. So, he will repeat the same suggestion no matter where the Senate President comes from and whichever party he belongs to. It is not because the incumbent is a member of the APC, that the former Senate President is from the PDP or that the former is from the South-South zone while the latter is from the North Central zone. Far from it. It is disingenuous and crude to describe Dr. Saraki’s comment along those primordial lines. “This issue is definitely not one in which Akpabio should exploit ethnic sentiments, political division, or regional proclivity. This will neither be in his own interest or that of the institution over which he is presiding. He should face the reality on ground and do what is right.
