Needed something to describe the feeling. I found two, essential as air, as profound as silence. Some truths are only found in the essentials. In the air we breathe, and the silence in thoughts. Listen to Air & Silence. New #RnB audiomack.com/oneasteri/song…

A total of 1,068 police officers have completed retraining, establishing a new standard for the Force. On 30 April 2026, the Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, visited Akwa Ibom State. He met with Governor Umo Eno at Government House to strengthen collaboration on police reforms, then attended the graduation of 1,068 retrained Police constables at the 26 PMF Base in Uyo. The IGP emphasized that skilled officers serve Nigeria more effectively. The retraining covered weapons handling, discipline, rules of engagement, and Force Order 237, demonstrating the Force’s commitment to continuous improvement. The Inspector General of Police reminded graduates that courage alone is not enough. Professionalism, restraint, and respect for human rights are essential. Any officer who misuses firearms or engages in extra-judicial conduct will face immediate dismissal and prosecution. The Force leadership commended CP Baba Mohammed Azare, the Commissioner of Police Akwa-Ibom for leading a retraining program that highlighted outstanding performances by female officers and described it as a model for commands nationwide. These 1,068 officers are now better equipped, more effective, and more accountable.

@kunle_kenny Seeee. x.com/i/status/20502… There's one my mum plays that gets on my last nerve something like 'Awon kon wa ni mortuary, awon egbe mi won saale lakitan' can't remember who sang it😂😂. I hate songs especially like that.
so what?@oneAsteri

Very intentional about the songs I'm nodding to these days. If you're singling about some dum shit I've clocked out in the third second which is what most of what main stream afrobeats is singing these days.

I’m extremely selective with songs I sing and listen to! I mean extremely!! I’m at an event and I just heard a song “Ibi ti mo gba koja, awon kan gba’be s’oda”. Meaning “the road I passed and nothing happened, the same road has killed some people”. I HATE HATE HATE HATE SONGS LIKE THIS WITH EVERYTHING IN MY SOUL! I HATE songs that mention the unfortunate situations of others disguised as gratitude to God. It irritates my spirit in such a deep way! Nigerian songwriters need to use their brains more! It is STUPID!!!! It is TACTLESS! It is SELFISH!!! Above all, it doesn’t please not glorify God. STOP IT!!!

@NeoIsDone @shredwithQpid point is the weight you're on didn't appear overnight so weighing less isn't an adv. You built the muscle you should be able to do push ups That's the bare minimum. Telling me I can do more push ups is cos I weigh less is incorrect cos not everyone in that weight category can.

We need some experts who are honest to hold conversations around these things Emphasis on honest experts. Because the excessive skin caring should be explained. I personally don't think you will dump 5 skin products on your skin daily with no side effects
Anita Vams@a__vanita

I just opened TikTok and saw a 20yr old girl say, ‘Only me PCOS, fatty liver, kidney problems.’ I checked the comments and it was full of girls aged 17–20 saying the same thing. Then I saw another: ‘Only me PCOS, ovarian cysts, enlarged ovaries, fatty liver, 2 years without menstruation… and I just turned 20.’ My goodness

Ask the average guy to drop down and give you as many Push-Ups as he can…. If he’s allowed to do them like the dude in Video 1….he’s giving you 15, 20, maybe even 25 If he’s forced to do them like the dude in Video 2….he might get 4
Jason Helmes@anymanfitness

How many push-ups (all the way down and up, zero cheating) do you think the average guy can do? Not gym rat. AVERAGE guy. If I had to guess, I would set the over/under at 8.5. Maybe lower.

In 2023, everyone knew that PO did not win jack shit, he didn’t even claim he won anything at the court but Obidient being dull people were raining curse and threats to anyone who bother to spit fact. They tried to say they will do forensic but deep within the hierarchy they knew they were lying. Everything was fluff. I hope as we go into another election, some of you introspect and become much measured and matured in your antagonism.
Abe Akam@abe_akam

At the time, I thought @Morris_Monye was close to PO, so I started messaging his DMs. You’re silly to think some of us are speaking out now because we hate PO or support Atiku. Most of you wouldn’t inconvenience yourselves for even an hour, aside from making noise on social media

You need full forensic evidence to prosecute but your ASP and other officers do not need full court investigation to shoot or profile Nigerians. Quote the law that asked your officer to execute a tied untried suspect. Lawless officer wan dey quote law for us? Una dey craze?
Aliyu Giwa@aleeygiwa

I understand your concern. However, an autopsy is a legal requirement. It helps establish full forensic evidence needed for prosecution, This ensures justice is properly secured.

PRESS RELEASE DELTA STATE POLICE COMMAND ESTABLISHES VIOLENT CRIME RESPONSE UNIT (VCRU); REORGANISES TACTICAL FORMATIONS, RE-TRAINED AND REDEPLOYS PERSONNEL In compliance with the directive of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc (+), NPM, to enhance operational efficiency, discipline, and accountability, the Delta State Police Command under the leadership of CP Yemi Oyeniyi, psc, acipm, mnips, has established a specialized Violent Crime Response Unit (VCRU) as part of a broader restructuring of its operational framework. The creation of the VCRU is a key component of this re-organization The CP stated that the VCRU is designed to handle violent and high-risk complaints requiring urgent police intervention. The Unit will function as a rapid response and coordination platform, working in synergy with Divisions and Tactical teams to ensure prompt and professional handling of such incidents. As part of the take-off process, selected personnel nominated into the Unit underwent a three-day intensive retraining programme. During the training, the Commissioner of Police personally addressed the officers, charging them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and respect for human rights in the discharge of their duties. The personnel were also taken through series of key lectures, including sessions delivered by the officer in charge of the Legal Department, who provided guidance on legal frameworks, use of force, and compliance with extant laws. In addition, the officers were retrained on arms handling, musketry, and the lawful use of firearms, with emphasis on responsibility, restraint, and operational safety. The CP emphasized that the reforms are aimed at deepening professional policing and restoring public confidence, while ensuring that violent incidents are responded to swiftly and effectively. He warned that negligence, misconduct, or abuse of human rights will not be tolerated. The Commissioner of Police has directed all Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers to give full support to the VCRU and ensure that all referrals are treated with urgency and in accordance with established procedures. The CP assures residents of the command's unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property and urges members of the public to promptly report incidents of violence through official police channels. The Delta State Police Command remains resolute in its mission to deliver efficient, responsive, and people-centered policing across the State. SP. I thought autopsy is required to determine/prove of death??? Or am I missing something?? That boy was publicly executed and murdered in cold blood. Autopsy for?? 🤷🏾‍♂️
SP Bright Edafe@Brightgoldenboy

His body is at the mortuary and the family have been told that whenever they want to see it, they will be allowed to. However its a case of suspected murder, so autopsy is compulsory and the family also agreed to this. Thank you
