Nowadays, it seems some Indians are getting overly hyped by this comment from Bangladesh's HC to India, a Yunus era appointee.
This guy said nothing when Yunus talked about capturing India's Seven Sister states and offering China free access there.
He said nothing when Yunus cancelled cotton imports from India and chose the US instead and after which India revoked transshipment facilities for Bangladesh.
He said nothing when Yunus imported Indian rice from Dubai and Singapore.
He said nothing when Yunus moved toward Pakistan over the purchase of JF-17 fighter jets.
During his tenure, India stopped issuing visas to Bangladeshis, and he said nothing then and never said that “Bangladesh will never do anything that goes against India's comfort.”
If he was truly a career diplomat, then why didn't he resign when many Bangladeshi career diplomats resigned during the Yunus regime?
There's no doubt this man was a die hard Yunus loyalist, yet some Indians are still trusting him.
