Flat Earth Dave highlights no real photos of Earth exist. The iconic 'Blue Marble' was created by Robert Simon, combining data and adding visually pleasing elements, even as iPhone wallpaper.
They paint clouds and stitch images… “Because it has to be.” Several data sets from several different instruments, remove the clouds and color the oceans—space graffiti.

@2wheelsgoodBrum I very rarely filter on the right, unless I'm absolutely certain of a light sequence & the left route is blocked - it puts me too close to oncoming traffic for my comfort. Much better to filter left & slot in when you can.

That's sometimes true, especially if filtering past HGVs with poor visibility, but even the road designer assumes cyclists will filter left. The entry mark for this ASL is on the left.

What to do? See a cyclist filtering on your left and you want to turn left. Clue: don't overtake the cyclist cutting across their path as they signal right.

Amsterdam airport is hilarious to watch ppl with an imminent connection get off the plane, look at the transfer board, note the gate & then realise “to make your connecting flight it is a simple 8.5km walk” If you’re not savvy to the Schiphol ways you’ll do some epic running 😂

@BikeabilityUK @ITVCentral I have a new, separate, lane on my commute. It's not great - it crosses a few rat run junctions that need care and a degree of hope. Waiting for my priority light signals slows me down compared with the on road route, but overall not being in traffic is so much better.

This e-bike rider is moving at a very high speed on the sidewalk. As you can see, the truck turns into a parking lot—and that’s where things go wrong. So who had the right of way? In my view, it was the truck, since sidewalks aren’t meant for vehicles moving that fast and the rider should have seen the truck turning in.

.@timreay. It does not enable them to cycle. It enables them to ride around the roads on unregistered fast, heavy motor vehicles, without needing to pass a test or take out insurance. To do so they must use power from the grid, which is largely proivided by burning gas. So not green.

@ClarkeMicah @gadboit True. But electrical assistance has enabled many more people to cycle, particularly in hillier regions. If it enables them to cycle instead of drive, if they couldn't otherwise cycle, that's green.
