@NMBLAKE @James_JosephTDL Well Emma was foul to Celeste. And she needs to hear the truth. What needs to come out of this is lives saved through mental health services that work. She lacks the empathy of living with a sick adult child and saving people on your own sadly.

The “bullying” accusation from Elias Calocane is entirely predictable in what is actually a lawful process intended to establish the truth — this is quite literally an “inquiry”. From the brother of the killer, sitting in said inquiry into three lives lost, in front of families that want to know “why?”. This is an inquiry by its very nature: it is to probe, it is to find answers as to HIS brother’s despicable act. I spent a lot of time with victims of atrocities, Elias is not one. His behaviour is despicable. When families instruct counsel to do their jobs — dig hard, demand every withheld document, every missed red flag from mental-health care to every step that allowed him to kill, every uncomfortable answer — that’s the whole point. Barristers aren’t there to be kind or cruel; they’re there to test evidence without fear or favour. That process is uncomfortable by design. And no matter what Elias may think, for those families who have suffered unimaginable loss and will live with this hell for the rest of their lives, who didn’t ask to be sat through this, who would never have wished for this, who just want their loved ones back. Elias isn't the victim here. However he never asked to be here either, but, this is a hell which Elias Calocane can give some insight into. Emma’s bravery, resilience and determination in the face of a never-ending grief, whilst living through this daily, should remind us all why these inquiries matter. Emma's grief is a bullying that never ends, one she never asked for. and faces daily This is about the real families who have suffered unimaginable loss, bulied by this for the rest of her life. A mother desperate to understand what went so badly wrong and why this vile individual was allowed to kill and confronts this horror every waking moment. How's that for bullying?
Emma@MrsEmmaWebber

Message to Elias Calocane. We are not bullies. We have not ‘instructed’ our Barrister to bully you and your family. HOW DARE YOU! We want the truth. We want to know what happened. We need answers. We need to understand. That’s all… We deserve that… You know you had the knowledge and the ability to intervene on the 12th and 13th June; but you chose to look the other way. #nottinghaminquiry 💛💚

Millions of unpaid UK carers ‘living in agony’ Lady Casey, who is leading an independent review of adult social care, criticised a system that “still behaves as if we are living in 1948 and not 2026” by relying on female carers to plug gaps in services. theguardian.com/society/2026/m…

@drsanjoykumar Have you tried dialing 999 and mental health crisis teams. It is behaviorism, after repeated failures you give up.

Exactly. And then a hundred lies told. Lie about suicide, If worried about suicide didn’t call 999 or a single hospital, didn’t call mental health care coordinator or any other 24hr service………….we were served up lies at the Inquiry. We fought for the Inquiry to get to the truth…..and it still eludes us……Calocane family coached and lied. I guess done to avoid any blame or responsibility @Fhamiltontimes @nottslive @EmilyMayTV @Alison1mackITV

After killing two students but crucially before stabbing 3rd victim, Valdo Calocane called his brother. Told him to leave country, not to visit him in hospital, that he'd done something stupid. Elias Calocane checked Twitter for news, but didn't call 999. Why not?

When I was younger & caring for my schizophrenic mum, people – including family advised me to move out & ‘live my own life’, that she wasn’t my responsibility. I didn’t & then my mum died when I was 24. I never regret staying & caring for her. I would've regretted not doing so.

Why does @LBC keep referring to the Golders Green stabbings as a ‘terror attack’ when the attacker hasn’t been charged with any terror related offences? Additionally they never mention the role of NHS mental health service failings - that yet again have had a lethal impact! That is the real national crisis we should all be talking about!

@drsanjoykumar Surely you know that self harm can happen with little warning, people do not say I plan to do it like this on that day. And we families are so frightened we don't talk about it, but it is ever present in our minds. A real risk.

LIAR. Elias Calocane lies about self harm. In no medical notes ever does the selfish Valdo Calocane ever mention self harm. You made this up…. Elias Calocane is a liar and needs to be treated with the contempt a liar deserves. Shame on you you lying family.

@drsanjoykumar Their story is completely plausible. Two suicides in my area in the last one month and a murdered mother a year ago. Our mental health services are non existent and inadequate, attendance at A&E for mental health at a high level.

@nottslive He was not a monster but a human being. Given how vengeful Emma has rubbished the mother, I can understand the father feeling he can't manage it and he doesn't have to.

@MrsEmmaWebber Suicide was a very understandable fear, the most likely outcome. The fear lives with you every day, you do everything you can and often it doesn't work. You insult Elias and all the families living with it.

❗️This is NOT the news. I rarely disagree with the BBC on the covering of this case. The headline is that the brother has recently amended his statement to change his agenda to introduce his fear of suicide. Not raised by anyone else ever!! And more importantly, he accused our KC of ‘being instructed to bully him and his family’. Come on BBC. You can do better than this!!!!

@PhilCoates9 Yes, yes and yes. Two suicides in my local area and a murdered mother. Local mental health services that 'refuse to engage' , masters and mistresses of cover ups and lies.

@EvacTony I think they were intact but after this it is likely the family is completely broken. Emma is such a vengeful woman. She wanted this enquiry and she must hear the truth. We need services that do their jobs.

@CoastingGP She is and there are so many suffering families that would thank her, having lost sons to suicide, 2 in the last month in our local area, or possibly their own lives. For others.

@sandycann2 This wasn't a game of playing remorse to the victims. Valdo was an adult, are we responsible for what our adult children do? Of course not. She played her part in trying to do her bit with authorities who, as is so common, do not want to do their work.

Hmm not a word of sympathy to the families at the end, all about how she suffered ; at the very least it would have shown how badly she felt about the tragic consequences of her sons actions ☹️ #post" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">bbc.co.uk/news/live/c042…

@JennyAThatcher Take note, good families support their miscreants and they did not commit the manslaughter and would have stopped it if they had been able. Celeste spoke the truth.
