24-year-old Nelson Ballard III of Landover, MD was recently taken into custody for shooting a man inside of the LA Fitness basketball gym on Ruby Lockhart Boulevard in Glenarden, Maryland during a basketball game this past Thursday.

UPDATE: reports are indicating the shooting occurred inside of the LA Fitness gym after a basketball game. The victim was last reported stable although shot several times.
