🚨Trash Room Files: Just ran into a dude that lives on my floor. Good dude. Divorced twice. Who isn’t in Scottsdale. That’s a right of passage. Anyways, I told him about throwing my vacuum down the chute and then I admitted in the same breath about how I once threw my entire golf bag down it because I shot 98 at some local goat ranch. He was telling me how he grew up in Manhattan in the 80’s and his dad would shove down one when he misbehaved. Said it was a blessing they lived only on the 25th floor and was able to survive. Talk about a ride Six Flags doesn’t even offer. Nowadays you can’t even look at your kid wrong without being accused of being abusive. Thanks a lot Obama.

People love Huntington Beach so much they just land on the sand instead of having to commute from LAX. Glad everyone is safe and our emergency team was all over it.

Pilot with his teen nephew take an unexpected visit to the beach after being forced to make an emergency landing at Huntington Beach in California. The pair took off from John Wayne Airport when the engine broke down at about 1,000 feet, just 5 minutes after takeoff. "When that happens, we run by memory. A very quick check to see if we can get the engine restarted. Not a lot much different than in your car. Pump the accelerator, check the ignition, switch tanks, in our case," the pilot Mike Bremner said. "When I realized that it wasn't going to start again, I looked to my right, I saw the beach, the winds were relatively light, and we set it up for landing and we touched down." There were no injuries. Amazing!

The US House just passed H.R. 7008, the Stop Insider Trading Act, which bans members of Congress, their spouses, and kids from buying individual stocks by a 232-198 vote.
Existing holdings can still be sold (with 7-14 day public notice).
Now the bill heads to the Senate… where it’s expected to stall and potentially fail
