The Qataris should definitely keep playing this game—bragging about how they get to boss Trump and the U.S. military around. The day the Americans leave Qatar is the day Qatar ends. This apparent member of the ruling Al Thani family in Qatar seems to think that the reason there is a U.S. base outside Doha is because the U.S. needs it, and not because without it Qatar would be a province of Saudi Arabia and he would be in exile in the south of France.
