Midnight 🤝 Monument Bank Monument is set to become the first UK-regulated bank to tokenize retail customer deposits on a public blockchain — representing interest-bearing savings as digital tokens while remaining fully backed, redeemable in GBP, and protected under existing regulatory frameworks. Built on Midnight’s privacy-enhancing blockchain infrastructure, this approach ensures that transaction data remains shielded and accessible only to authorized participants — enabling the use of blockchain technology while maintaining the confidentiality and compliance required in regulated financial services. The initiative begins with a target of £250 million in tokenized deposits and represents the first phase in a broader rollout to expand access to tokenized financial products. Over time, this includes enabling exposure to asset classes such as private equity and structured products, and introducing more flexible lending models — capabilities historically reserved for institutional and private banking clients. Together, this partnership demonstrates how regulated financial institutions can bring traditional financial products on-chain — unlocking a more flexible, accessible, and programmable financial system without compromising privacy or regulatory standards.

Breaking News
Cardano (ADA) has now been formally detailed by the SEC as a digital commodity, not a security today.
It is written directly into the Commission’s latest interpretive release. (Released Today)
A digital commodity is an asset that derives its value from the programmatic operation of a functional crypto system, not from the expectation of profits driven by the efforts of others.
ADA is listed alongside Bitcoin and Ethereum under that classification.

Dear Cardano & crypto holders...
It's pretty crazy I'm writing this, but....Cardano just got its first Tier 1 stablecoin.
It's not a wrapped token or something like that.
USDCx is issued directly through Circle's xReserve infrastructure and it is backed 1:1 by USDC.
We should understand why this is such a big deal.
The real macro significance is the institutional access argument...institutions typically won't deploy capital on-chain without a trusted, redeemable stablecoin. So this was a huge problem for Cardano.
That blocker is now removed!
Whether that actually attracts institutional capital is the question that gets answered over the next few months into the new cycle.
Cardano TVL is currently $140M (up from $127M in Feb)
15M+ USDCx minted since launch
Stablecoin market cap on Cardano now is $48M
The TVL trend from here is probably one of the best things to pay attention to.

I don’t think people understand how insanely bullish this chart is.
Everyone’s missing the biggest signal Crypto’s about to go parabolic.
Sentiment is crushed.

Timing is lining up.

Banks. Governments. Institutions.
All openly building a blockchain-based financial system.
It’s only a matter of time before crypto does what it always does next.
Crypto doesn’t need your belief to take over.
