About 2,500 years ago, in these very days, Queen Esther stopped a state-backed plan to annihilate the Jewish people. Haman, empowered by the Persian throne, signed their death warrant. Esther stepped into the center of power, exposed the plot, and turned the empire against the man who engineered it. Instead of Jews being slaughtered, Haman was executed, and his scheme collapsed in humiliation. That is why the Book of Esther stands in the Bible. That is why Purim is celebrated every year to remember the great reversal, when a decree of death became a story of survival. History does not repeat itself exactly, but the pattern is familiar: those who plan destruction often fall into the traps they set, and those marked for extinction endure. Khamenei is the new Haman.

A beautiful moment from @ArminNavabi: “as an Iranian, I just want to say thank you to Israelis. We will never forget this. This is the greatest gift. We are now even. So you don’t need to thank us anymore for Cyrus The Great saving the Jewish people. You saved us. The favour has been completely returned. We are completely even.”

People usually think Albert Einstein was a genius simply because he was good at mathematics. But many scientists of his time were excellent mathematicians. What truly set Einstein apart was something else—what cognitive scientist Robert Sternberg calls creative intelligence. Einstein’s real strength was his ability to look at problems in a new way. While others worked within accepted ideas about space and time, Einstein questioned those ideas themselves. He used thought experiments—like imagining himself riding on a beam of light or thinking about clocks moving at high speed—to explore possibilities that no one else had noticed. Creative intelligence is not about random ideas. It is about structured thinking. It means finding new and useful ideas by changing how a problem is understood. And this skill can be practiced. For example, take a problem you are working on and rewrite it in three different ways. Change the goal, the limits, or how the problem is framed. You may not become another Einstein, but you can become someone people rely on for fresh and effective solutions.

Injured Bondi terror victim Rosalia Shikhverg says Western Sydney Hospital changed her name and removed her religion without her consent. She says the hospital blamed the media but was actually fearful of its own staff after the Bankstown Hospital incident. After discharge, she spoke to other Bondi victims treated at different hospitals — and says this did not happen to them. She now says she’ll think twice before going to hospital again.

BREAKING: West Sydney hospital in a heavily multicultural area secretly changed the name and religion of a Jewish shooting victim from Bondi while she was under their care. They referred to her during treatment with the Anglo alias “Karen Jones” because the hospital staff could not be trusted if they knew she was Jewish. This comes after two Muslim extremist nurses at another West Sydney hospital said on video that they would kill any “Zionist” patient in their care. Most successful multicultural country in the world btw.

When Prime Minister, Menachem Begin, convened a study session on Saturday evening - with some of the foremost biblical scholars of the day in attendance - to discuss a particular Torah portion (Numbers 22-24). In this portion, the heathen prophet - Balaam - is hired to curse the Israelites, but instead - impelled by G-D's command - finds himself blessing them! However, Balaam predicts that "this [referring to the House of Israel] is a people that shall dwell alone and shall not be reckoned among the nations." Chuckling and reflecting upon Balaam's prediction, Begin mused: "Why does the Jewish State so frequently face solitude in the family of nations? Is it because we are the only country in the world that is Jewish? Is it because we are the one country in the world whose language is Hebrew? But why are there no other Jewish states? Why are there no other Hebrew-speaking states, just as there are multiple Christian states, Moslem states, Hindu states, Buddhist states, English-speaking, Arabic-speaking, French-speaking, Chinese-speaking? In short, why have we no sovereign kith and kin anywhere in the world? In the United Nations, everybody is grouped into regional blocs, each bloc bound by a common geography, religion, history, culture, and language. They vote with one another in solidarity. But no other country in the world shares our unique narrative. Geographically, we are located in Asia, but the Asian bloc - but the Asian bloc won't have us. Our Arab neighbors see to that. Indeed, they want to destroy us. So, geographically, we really belong nowhere. And since membership in the Security Council is in accordance with regional blocs, we have no realistic chance of being elected to it. The one blood tie, the one kindred bond we have with anybody at all in the world, is with our own fellow Jews in the Diaspora, and everywhere they are a minority and nowhere do they enjoy any form of national or cultural autonomy." As 20,000 innocent Iranians are murdered in the streets, Iranians are shocked to see that neither the disgraceful UN Secretary General nor many of the West's famous news organizations nor virtually all the 'humanitarian' NGOs nor the international 'human rights' courts and their lawyers have supported them, exposing much about who controls who in the hierarchy of grievances and the degradation of the entire NGOsphere and the rules-based supranational infrastructure. For 40 years, Iranian dissidents nicknamed the British broadcaster “BBC Ayatollah” and in the last three weeks, the BBC and Sky initially avoided the protests. Ironically the comedian Omid Djalili was providing better coverage than the BBC whose coverage was embarrasing. The UN, long protecting Iran, abetted by its allies Russia and China, ignored it altogether and its secretary-general was revealed as a patspaw for vicious tyrannies. Only on Thursday did the security council hold a session at which the dissident Masih Alinejad, whom the regime had tried to assassinate, reprimanded António Guterres, the compromised secretary-general: “the Secretary-general has not spoken publicly against the massacre … Secretary-general why are you afraid of the Islamic Republic?” Iranian protesters chanted 'Neither Gaza nor Lebanon My Life for Iran' and in favour of the Shah and his son. Western activists have resisted backing this new anti-Islamic revolution, long seeing radical Iran as an authentic popular bulwark against US and Israeli power and Western imperialism - a shameful now unveiled view long espoused by many prominent TV anchors, newsrooms as well as the 'humanitarian' and international law NGOsphere and the 'peace' pro-Palestine activists. Iranians are outraged by his brazen ammoral humbug: “Where is the left now? Where are the ‘pro-Palestinian’ and ‘anti-war’ activists when the Islamic Republic is killing innocent Iranians?” asks Alinejad. The Iranian Yale lecturer Arash Azizi reflects: “You would have thought leftists would understand the killing of Iranians on the streets fighting against a brutal capitalist regime. But unfortunately they don’t. The western leftist movements hate the West. They hate their own societies.” Unlike the Islamists, the shah refused to slaughter Iranians, as did Louis XVI, Charles X, Louis Philippe, Napoleon III and Nicholas II who hesitated to unleash violence so as not to taint the succession of their sons. Now almost to the day since his father left Iran 47 years ago, Prince Reza is the leading opposition symbol. Critics question whether he has real support and we know little of who Iranians would really support after a revolution. But inconvenient and embarrassing as it is to the West's 'anti-imperalists' he obviously has spport as a symbol if not a future king. He will never represent that the 20% of Iranians who support the Islamist dictatorship nor probably the far left but it is now up to Prince Reza to assemble a wider coalition of other parties and attitudes if he really wishes to become a future leader around whom most Iranians can rally. But it is little wonder Iranians see the shah’s reign as golden: their royalism, says the journalist Roohola Ramezani, who escaped Iran days ago, is “not a return to absolute autocracy but a symbolic bulwark against the failure of clerical republicanism … the throne reimagined as a secular shield” and he adds that the funding of faraway Islamist organizations, Hamas and Hezbollah, have outraged Iranians who see billions of their money wasted on murderous paramilitaries. Some have chanted for Israel and waved Israeli flags.... thetimes.com/comment/column…

True story -- when the Baathist egimes in both Iraq and Syria demanded ransom for every Jew given an exit visa to Israel, the late Shah of Iran stepped in to pay that for each and every Iraqi and Syrian Jew who made aliyah. Long may his memory be green!

In the 1950s, Jews were being ethnically cleansed from Iraq by Islamic supremacists, the Govt of Iran decided to bring Iraqi Jews to Tehran and fly them to Tel Aviv, saving their lives. My family has NEVER forgotten that, that's why we stand with the People of Iran! 🇮🇷❤️🇮🇱

Fascinating (and new to me) 1979 NYT article on Ayatollah Khomeini, who is apparently: (1) an honest man, (2) surrounded by moderates concerned w/ human rights, (3) one who will leave his internal enemies (Jews, atheists, leftists) free to express themselves, & (4) overall a beacon of hope for the region's future. (File under: 100% wrong wishful-thinking predictions.)

Another day, another incredible group of eminent Australians calling on the Prime Minister to do the ‘right thing’ and call a Commonwealth Royal Commission. This time it’s more 30 security and intelligence experts among them former Chiefs of the Army, Air Force, Navy, Special Operations and Signal Intelligence. This is unprecedented. Their message, blunt and clear. “Antisemitism and Islamist extremism pose serious national security challenges for Australia. They fracture social cohesion, fuel violence, and weaken our national resilience. At a time of growing risk of international conflict, antisemitism has already exposed Australia to foreign interference from hostile states and extremist groups. After the Bondi atrocity we call on the Albanese government to immediately establish a Federal Royal Commission into antisemitism and Islamist extremism. The Royal Commission must have the authority to inquire into all aspects of the rise of antisemitism in Australia following the Hamas attack on Israel on 7 October 2023. A Federal Royal Commission will help unify the country around seeking solutions, moving beyond recrimination and find a better way forward. The Australian Jewish community produced one of our greatest military and national leaders, Sir John Monash. Sadly, Monash experienced antisemitism during much of his life. In his spirit, we say this is a time for courage, clear sighted leadership and action. As former senior leaders in defence and security, we urge Prime Minister Albanese to take decisive action, strengthen national security and bring Australians together. Establishing a Federal Royal Commission into antisemitism and Islamist extremism is a vital step to help Australia overcome these serious challenges. The Prime Minister should act immediately.” Prime Minister, you claim to be listening to the ‘actual experts’, well here they are. Telling you plainly, simply and publicly, call a Commonwealth Royal Commission now! Just do it. There is no time to waste.

Today Australia’s sporting champions showed they don’t just represent the nation they speak for the nation. In an incredibly powerful and unprecedented statement 70 champions including Dawn Fraser, Jess Fox, Pat Rafter, Ian Thorpe, Nova Peris and Grant Hackett have called for a Royal Commission into antisemitism and the events leading up to the Bondi massacre. Its now up the Prime Minister to act on their words: “Today, we cannot remain silent. This is not who we are. This is not the Australia we represented. As sporting leaders, we understand that leadership matters, especially when values are tested. We call on the Prime Minister and the Australian Government to show decisive national leadership by confronting extremism and terrorism in all its forms, without fear or hesitation. We must also put an end to the unprecedented harassment, intimidation and violence that has been directed at the Australian Jewish community since October 7, 2023. This is a national crisis, and it demands a national response. This is bigger than politics. It is about the character of our country and the Australia we want future generations to inherit. With the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games approaching, the eyes of the world will soon be upon Australia. The safety of our citizens, the integrity of our public spaces, and the values we project as a nation have never mattered more. We call on the Australian Government to immediately establish a Commonwealth Royal Commission into antisemitism, radicalisation and the events leading up to the Bondi massacre as well as take other immediate action to protect the public. A Royal Commission is the most credible and unifying pathway to understanding what went wrong, ensuring accountability, restoring social harmony and taking Australia forward with a meaningful, practical plan of action. As Australians who have long championed unity and national pride - on the field and beyond it - we implore our leaders to act with urgency and moral clarity. The safety of Australians, and the future cohesion of our nation, depends on it.” Full statement 👇
