श्री @byadavbjp, आपके भ्रामक दावे के अनुसार 1.44 लाख वर्ग किलोमीटर अरावली के 0.19% क्षेत्र पर ही नया खनन होगा यानी लगभग 68,000 एकड़ पहाड़ पर खनन होगा। एक खनन पट्टा यदि एक हैक्टेयर (2.5 एकड़) हुआ तो भी 27,200 नई खदानें खुल जाएंगी। इससे होने वाले प्रदूषण से पूरे इलाके की कैसी दुर्गति होगी? #SaveAravalli

भ्रम फैलाना बंद करें! अरावली के कुल 1.44 लाख वर्ग किलोमीटर क्षेत्र में मात्र 0.19% हिस्से में ही खनन की पात्रता हो सकती है। बाकी पूरी अरावली संरक्षित और सुरक्षित है। अरावली की पहाड़ियों में सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेश पर सीमित/सशर्त अनुमति दी गई है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने अरावली के संरक्षण को कमजोर नहीं किया है। कोर्ट ने केवल अरावली पहाड़ियों और रेंज की एक समान, वैज्ञानिक परिभाषा तय की है। इस निर्णय से किसी भी इलाके में अपने-आप खनन की अनुमति नहीं मिलती न ही इस निर्णय से कोई पर्यावरण कानून कमजोर हुआ है, जैसे: * पर्यावरण संरक्षण अधिनियम, 1986 * वन संरक्षण अधिनियम, 1980 * वन्यजीव संरक्षण अधिनियम, 1972 * पर्यावरण प्रभाव आकलन (EIA) अधिसूचना सभी राज्यों ने मिलकर यह तय किया है कि 100 मीटर या उससे ऊँची हर पहाड़ी और उन पहाड़ियों को घेरे हुए सभी भू-आकृतियां, इसके अलावा, दो 100 मीटर ऊँची पहाड़ियों के बीच 500 मीटर का क्षेत्र भी अरावली रेंज माना गया है और यह पूरा इलाका भी खनन के लिए प्रतिबंधित है। 100 मीटर को लेकर फैलाया जा रहा भ्रम पूरी तरह गलत व्याख्या पर आधारित है। यह 100 मीटर कोई नई छूट नहीं, बल्कि पहाड़ी की पहचान का वैज्ञानिक मानक है, जो local relief यानी आसपास की ज़मीन से ऊँचाई के आधार पर तय होता है, समुद्र तल से नहीं। यदि कोई भू-आकृति अपने आसपास की भूमि से 100 मीटर या उससे अधिक ऊँची है, तो वह पहाड़ी मानी जाती है और उस पहाड़ी व उसकी ढलानों पर खनन पूरी तरह प्रतिबंधित रहता है। दो ऐसी पहाड़ियों के बीच 500 मीटर का पूरा क्षेत्र पर्वत श्रृंखला माना जाता है और वह भी पूरी तरह संरक्षित है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने स्पष्ट किया है कि पहले कुछ राज्यों में 100 मीटर के भीतर खनन की गलत प्रथा चल रही थी, जिससे पहाड़ियों के बीच अस्थिर खंभे बच जाते थे। इसी खतरे को रोकने के लिए सख्त और एकसमान परिभाषा लाई गई। राजस्थान में यही नियम अशोक गहलोत की सरकार के समय से ही लागू है, यह कोई नया बदलाव नहीं है। अरावली न पहले समाप्त हुई थी, न अब होगी।

आज मैं अपनी प्रोफाइल पिक्चर (DP) बदलकर #SaveAravalli अभियान का हिस्सा बन रहा हूँ। यह सिर्फ एक फोटो नहीं, एक विरोध है उस नई परिभाषा के खिलाफ जिसके तहत 100 मीटर से कम ऊंचाई वाली पहाड़ियों को 'अरावली' मानने से इंकार किया जा रहा है। मेरा आपसे अनुरोध है कि अपनी प्रोफाइल पिक्चर बदलकर इस अभियान से जुड़ें: अरावली के संरक्षण को लेकर आए इन बदलावों ने उत्तर भारत के भविष्य पर एक बड़ा सवाल खड़ा कर दिया है। यह निर्णय हमारे अस्तित्व के लिए खतरनाक है क्योंकि: 1️⃣ मरुस्थल एवं लू के खिलाफ दीवार: अरावली कोई मामूली पहाड़ नहीं, बल्कि कुदरत की बनाई 'ग्रीन वॉल' (Green Wall) है। यह थार रेगिस्तान की रेत और गर्म हवाओं (लू) को दिल्ली, हरियाणा और यूपी के उपजाऊ मैदानों की ओर बढ़ने से रोकती है। अगर छोटी पहाड़ियाँ (Gaping Areas) खनन के लिए खुल गईं, तो रेगिस्तान हमारे दरवाज़े तक आ जाएगा और गर्म हवाएं तापमान को बढ़ा देंगी। 2️⃣ प्रदूषण से रक्षा: ये पहाड़ियाँ और यहाँ के जंगल NCR और आसपास के शहरों के 'फेफड़ों' (Lungs) की तरह काम करते हैं। ये धूल भरी आंधियों (Dust Storms) को रोकते हैं और जानलेवा प्रदूषण को कम करने में सबसे बड़ी भूमिका निभाते हैं। दिल्ली और आसपास के इलाके में अरावली के बावजूद इतनी गंभीर स्थिति है तो अरावली के बिना कैसी स्थिति होगी, उसकी कल्पना करना भी वीभत्स है। 3️⃣ भूजल (Groundwater): अरावली हमारे लिए पानी का मुख्य रिचार्ज ज़ोन है। अरावली की चट्टानें बारिश के पानी को ज़मीन के भीतर भेजकर भूजल रिचार्ज करती हैं। अगर पहाड़ खत्म हुए, तो भविष्य में पीने के पानी की गंभीर कमी का सामना करना पड़ेगा,जिससे वन्यजीव लुप्त होने की कगार पर आ जाएंगे तथा इकोलॉजी को खतरा होगा। वैज्ञानिक सच यह है कि अरावली एक निरंतर शृंखला (Continuous Chain) है। इसकी छोटी पहाड़ियाँ भी उतनी ही अहम हैं जितनी बड़ी चोटियाँ। अगर दीवार में एक भी ईंट कम हुई, तो सुरक्षा टूट जाएगी। 📢 हमारी अपील: हम केंद्र सरकार और माननीय सुप्रीम कोर्ट से विनम्र निवेदन करते हैं कि भावी पीढ़ियों के सुरक्षित भविष्य के लिए इस परिभाषा पर पुनर्विचार (Reconsider) करें। अरावली को 'फीते' या 'ऊंचाई' से नहीं, बल्कि इसके 'पर्यावरणीय योगदान' (Ecological Impact) से आंका जाए। #SaveAravalli
