I don't see it. What new tech? WASM? Abstractions/standards that catch on tend to stick around for a (long) while. "Docker" containers etc. like TCP/IP and JS runtime. The insides will get reinvented for better perf but the "API" will remain even though suboptimal.

@pinchito @mipsytipsy I think we'll start to see folks start gravitating again towards ridiculously fast, specialized deployment solutions for the tech they're actually using once they see how much faster they can iterate when they don't have to wait for deploys ever again.
