Agricultural markets. In case the moose out front didn’t tell ya, opinions are what you paid for them. Every battle is won before it is fought.

@davidwidmar @drbrock37 From the looks of it, they’re paying current “replacement cost” unless they pre-bought obviously. The question currently is how many did not hedge and what that impact will be on 26 acres. Hard to tell.

@drbrock37 @openingprint I’m never sure what price farmers end up paying - the price when loaded onto the ship or prevailing prices when farmers ask for a price quote. Agree on next year- especially if natural gas prices (and shipping cost) are high

@drbrock37 @davidwidmar Articles I’ve read suggest 30-45 days. Also stated was that supplies headed to US for spring planting would have had to leave in the January/February timeframe. IMO it’s a bigger deal for next Brazil crop cycle if it lasts.

@davidwidmar what is the transit time of urea that goes through the strait to the U.S.? ie. - what % of the urea we would import during this timeframe already in the middle of the Atlantic?

New crop soybeans up 13 with the front unchanged may be a sign.

Watching the Sunday morning “news” programs, one thing is painfully obvious; partisanism has run over patriotism. I’m all for Freedon of Press/Speech, but IMO political rhetoric should take a back seat during conflicts rather than one in the front row.

@ottoscholl Interesting thought. Throughout the history of mankind, while wars are often wrapped in the flags of ideology, religion, or "glory," the underlying engine is almost always a struggle over who gets to control the "stuff" needed to survive and thrive. Land, food, resources.

I had this thought. The fact so many people actively fight religious wars over the Holy Land, and even more revere it, might be the most damning indictment of atheism. It must be the origin of truth. (Turns off notifications) Good morning.

US$ 380.000.000 milhões na conta. Ego? Zero. Keanu Reeves: o homem que conquista Hollywood e continua pegando metrô, dando gorjeta gigante pra equipe e tratando todo mundo como igual. Humildade nível máximo. 🥹👏🏻

@ambofgrain It was a comment on supposedly being farmer-friendly rather than environmentally friendly.

Decapitating the EPA as it pertains to greenhouse emissions regulations while supposedly supporting E15 would seem to be quite contradictory.
