@joeyboo007 I just don't understand the modern fan. Pre-season fames are there to improve players fitness, try new systems, give youth players a taste of being around the first team. I can't recall last seasons results as their irrelevant. Bring back the days when we used to play Barnet.

Technically, maybe Chris Kavanagh's decision to show Rice a second yellow for nudging the ball away at free kick was correct. But it feels like poor game management and rigid decision-making. The ball was rolling so Veltman was not in a position to take a quick free kick anyway.

I’ve just seen incident and this is spot on. Booked for knocking a moving ball away which would have meant any referee would have called play back if a quick free kick had been taken. A nonsense, look at me decision by the referee

If I hear "the letter of the law" one more time, I'm about to smack my head on my desk.
It's absolute garbage because every week - we see with our own eyes - that the law is totally ignored. Choke-slams, clotheslines, elbows to the back of the head. Where is the law for those?
