FLASH🚨: Governor Dapo Abiodun @DapoAbiodunCON has ordered the relocation of the illegal motor park and roadside traders at the Sango Tollgate on the Ogun–Lagos border after repeated fatal accidents.
Interstate buses and street traders that have been occupying the illegal spot for over 25 years will be moved to organised locations, while barricades will be put in place to block any return.
The decision followed an inspection by Environment Commissioner Ola Oresanya @dejioresanya with officials of the ministry, OGWAMA, and Ado-Odo/Ota LGA.
Authorities say the move will curb accidents, end illegal trading around the tollgate, and restore order, with a full environmental cleanup also planned.
Enforcement begins in days.
