There was no confidence gain, just a metric.

so you are one of the 3 1. intentionally not trying to understand things 2. have no idea what 2010-2015 professional web 100% test coverage madness was like 3. something else that is neither ignorant or intentional misinterpreting ill pretend 3 for kindness sake. 100% test coverage has and always will lead to a bunch of gamified tests that are breaking the blackbox testing contract and secretly testing implementation of single if statements somewhere deep within your code. its a source of perennial problems. every change comes with many borked unit tests and it becomes very difficult to distinguished between broken because of internal implementation details change and broken because of some real bug lastly, when you ask claude to do this, they will inevitably start adding testing data and leaking abstractions leading to significantly more brittle changes. Yes, this is a bad idea Please dont think that SOTA == savior

please for the love of all programmers out there do not do this, do not recreate 2010-2015 I would rather see 40% coverage with extremely well thought through tests then whatever comes out of here

@CodeByNZ I use vcs tools in ide's for some visual tasks. But I learned to use git well from the terminal specifically because the integrations have burned me in the past. The harder it is to do with git, the less I trust an ide integration.

When VS Code already has the Source Control feature, why do developers still use Git commands in the terminal for pushing, committing, or cloning repositories? 👀

@asmah2107 It depends on who my employer is. If they care more about buzzwords than working systems, I'd deploy redis caches in every region and scale everything as far as I possibly could and then ask the frontend team to add animation to make the page seem engaging while they wait.

Quick question : You have 50 microservices, each with its own API. The frontend team is losing their mind. To render a single page, they make 10+ network calls. The app is sluggish. Users are complaining. How do you fix this ?

@manicblase @FenixAmmunition That's the first thing I thought of. If an attacker gets to the point where they discover this, what will they do in response. Obviously I wish this on no one, but will women just be murdered then?

@FenixAmmunition It's hidden, so they have to endure the assault until it's discovered and then they have to endure the subsequent rage. They could just preempt all of this with the legalization of defensive weapons, but that's too simple a solution.
