Yup, Trump is setting the stage for the chip manufacturers in Taiwan to move to the United States, thus ending our strategic interest in Taiwan.
The gameplan is to get out of China’s backyard, and for them to get out of ours.
This for that.
Seems logical to me.

@Hitchslap1 I think maybe 2-4 times in the last ten years? When I was younger I didn’t know what kind I liked yet and changed more often.
Now I have a small leather one and a large canvas one to switch between. I don’t foresee replacing either unless they are damaged, which seems unlikely.

I *hate* the gas pump video screens and speakers. That few minutes of peace, just listening to traffic hum and wind, thinking about the next leg of your trip, or your upcoming day has been replaced by the most godawful annoying loud advertisements.

@xologey @Hitchslap1 Part of the issue is that intelligent ppl often have insulated lives. Many genuinely think reporting from others about mass low IQ behavior is misinformation with hidden motives.
And then when they finally see it, they believe low IQ means completely disabled and medicalize it.

Women who scored high in intrasexual competitiveness (basically, women who view other women as rivals for attention or status) were significantly more likely to recommend cutting off more hair, especially when the client's hair was healthy and the client explicitly asked to keep it long. The research involved 450 women across two different studies. Interestingly, the "stylists" were most likely to recommend shorter cuts to women they perceived as being at the same attractiveness level as themselves. They didn't see the need to "neutralize" women they thought were much less attractive, and they didn't always target those much more attractive, they went after their direct "competition." Know exactly what you want before you sit down.
