@HoustonHealth Why not scheduling both appointments when scheduling for the first dose? If the person doesn’t show up on the first appointment, the second will be automatically canceled. That will save you @HoustonHealth a lot of time! Plan the most efficient way ahead of time!

We understand the anxiety but we will reach out to everyone we vaccinate about second doses. Please only call if you haven’t heard from us 48 hours from your due date. The volume of calls about second doses ahead of time is creating long wait times at our call center. #hounews

How can children be safe going back to schools when COVID-19 vaccine for children won’t be available at least until summer, for younger children, perhaps next year?

If you treat this virus like it is yesterday’s news, it will remind you or someone close to you that it never left. Today the City reported 112 new positive cases and 4 more deaths. Social distancing and face coverings work until a vaccine is found. st

It is unbelievable that price of #insulin is 10x more than other countries. A family member is stuck in the US without insurance due to #COVID19, and now he needs to pay thousands of dollars for the same drug that he can get for a fraction of the price in his home country.
