@boye4christ2006 Visa ban is tied to the individual's biometrics and not passport. The case worker may have considered other factors to still grant the visa. That does not mean the Canadian passport covers for the individual's wrong with the UK. Inadmissibility supercedes passport power

A client of mine was given 10 years banned in the UK 🇬🇧 8 years ago because he used fake bank statements .
The unfortunate part of it was that it was his Pastor who was working in a bank then that did the fake bank statements for him. His student visa was denied.
In 2019, I guided him to do Canada express entry and fortunately for him he was invited in 2021 to apply.
Last year he became a Canadian citizen.
Two weeks ago, he came to UK 🇬🇧 and he called me. He entered UK 🇬🇧 without any issues. We catch up together and had a nice time in London.
Even though his 10 years ban was still on, but his Canadian 🇨🇦 Passport has covered his UK 🇬🇧 ban.
This is the power of having a good passport. Which passport do you long to have?

This guy had his bike stolen and traced it down to a house. The bike’s been there for over 12 hours, but listen to how the police acted and the attitude! They say they can’t do anything because the back gate is open and there’s no other evidence. He then argues with the man, who clearly just wants justice for his stolen bike. The British police are an absolute joke.

Despite that I had not paid any money for the modem and connection, I got a cheque of over £180 as compensation for the time they wasted and inability to connect me. Recently, I got 2 cheques from Virginmedia for a promo they did last year which I am not even aware of.

@XBrianDennis @Starlink 1. @MTNNG , @AirtelNigeria , @GlobacomNigeria are all fraudulent business entities protected by the regulators @NgComCommission and @fccpcnigeria . I applied for BT connection in my house and they had issue not been able to get the work done in 3weeks. I called off the deal.

3 weeks ago, my @Starlink dish that I’ve been using for the past 3 years suddenly went offline.
I messaged support and they said it was damaged beyond repair.
Before I could ask what next, they asked me to confirm my delivery address and they sent me a free replacement device with one month free subscription at zero cost to me.
I come dey imagine say na Nigerian business.
Make I hear say your MTN router spoil and them replace am free of charge with free one month subscription 😂😂😂

I used to think only Nigerians scammed people, until I became a remote worker and met this Canadian woman who gave me a gig. She was to pay $150 per week.
I worked for the first 3 weeks, and she paid $450 without issues. In the final week, I worked less hours, so instead of $150, I wrote her an invoice for $85, and madam ghosted me. 😂I think say na play!
I sent her a reminder to settle my invoice, and she knack me blocking on both Facebook and WhatsApp. Till today, I've not collected my 85 dollars, and this was in 2023, by the way.

Migrants are applying for British citizenship in record numbers amid growing uncertainty over planned immigration reforms by @UKLabour
New Home Office figures show that more than 312,000 refugees, workers, and family members applied for citizenship in the year to March the highest number ever recorded and almost double the figure from eight years ago.
At the same time, applications for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), the key step toward permanent residency, have also surged. Around 331,000 people applied over the past two years, marking a record high and a 28% increase compared to the previous two-year period.
The rise comes as the Labour government considers major changes to the immigration system.
Under proposals led by Shabana Mahmood, migrants may be required to live in the UK for 10 years before qualifying for ILR, instead of the current five-year threshold, unless they are high earners or working in key public service roles.
Reports also suggest these stricter rules could apply to people already living in the country.
The proposed changes have triggered a rush among many migrants seeking to secure their status before any new rules take effect.

I have been using my Nigerian phone numbers (+234) since I relocated to Austria many years ago. This is my usual practice, even when I visited Nigeria recently.
I recharge NGN1,000 every six months and then call a family member using that amount. My phone number remains active. Alternatively, you can use MTN or Airtel to keep your number active.
MTN allows you to pay a small fee to keep your line active for up to 3 years, even if you don't use it.
1 Year: Dial *305*1# (costs ₦400)
2 Years: Dial *305*2# (costs ₦800)
3 Years: Dial *305*3# (costs ₦1,200)

@aisha_IMO @PeterStefanovi2 Skills shortage is already manifesting. At my place of work, more than 70% of our team are now non-EU migrants. Some days, we have all workers (16) as non-EU workers. Many saying they are awaiting the govt's final position so they can move. The worst is yet to come.

I do not understand how this happened but definitely, it defies the least of common sense and rationalization. A student visa holder who arrived for a 3years program should never be allowed to contest for a public office to govern the people on a 5years term.
