Our beautiful short par four 3rd - your first sighting of the Southern Ocean on the layout. 304m from the back pegs - but by no means easy.

@ross_flann_golf Yep was added in to the “club” and completely stands on merit from a design point etc but the sandbelt soil region not the clay based geological underground belt which is where the original term comes from I don’t believe stretches to Frankston

Played Peninsula Kingswood- one of the Sandbelt courses here in Melbourne. I’ve never experienced anything quite like it and love how much thought is required on every shot. What course should I play next? 🇦🇺

I’m British. I recently spent 10 days in the USA for business. And discovered the ocean between us isn't water. It's mindset. 7 uncomfortable truths about US v UK culture:

@garrett_TFE This is a brilliant. Only thing I would change is swap out metro and portsea for national old and St Andrew’s beach 🙌

@taylorotwell Any reason (apart from maintenance) not to build a generic builder command, something where you select the features you want. Auth: y/n, Cashier: Stripe/Paddle/None etc. Rather than a multitude of different repos I then need to understand and work out if I want or not

In the next few weeks we'll be kicking off work on new Laravel starter kits. Here's what I'm thinking... I don't think the starter kits should be packages. Instead, I think they should just be GitHub repositories you clone. All of the code lives in your application, no "install" commands or copying files around. Just clone a starter kit and start building. 🔨 Think something like "laravel/simple-starter-kit" and "laravel/saas-starter-kit"... and maybe more in the future? "laravel/api-starter-kit"... "laravel/ai-starter-kit"? Easy to inspect what is included, easy to accept community contributions. 👍 Thinking the simple starter kit would be the equivalent of today's Laravel Breeze. Basic registration, authentication, password reset, profile management. The SaaS starter kit would include all of that, teams, Stripe Checkout integration with Cashier, and more. 💰 Both totally free and open source. Livewire and Inertia 2.0 flavors. Tailwind 4. Maybe something like @shadcn for the Inertia variant? What do you think?

Spent my weekend processing how incredible @LaraconAU 2024 was ❤️ The vibes & support within this community are something truly unique. A huge thank you to @michaeldyrynda for pulling off an amazing event — while remaining calm, collected, happy and entertaining through it all.

The temerity to even consider himself eligible for a ruling let alone relief after such a terrible shot perfectly encapsulates why the Tour is rotting on the vine. They’ve lost a complete generation of fans with their entitlement & detachment.
No Laying Up@NoLayingUp

This segment was really good. I’m kinda at a loss with this one. By the letter of the law (and thanks to this content), it’s hard to argue that they got the ruling wrong. It just leaves an awful taste in everyone’s mouth, and seems like this rule needs to be revisited.

@AndrewKirbyGolf 100% something weird about American golf and CCs, always wearing pants. But hey, wear a hoodie and joggers if you want. Just no shorts

Watching #FullSwing So funny on the PGAT that they wear shorts in practice rounds but not in the tournament A player with balls should just show up in shorts on Thursday 🤣

That crazy 8K Dell monitor came in, and the text is so fucking crisp, it's hard to convey in words. Substantial step up over the 6K Pro Display. But... there's a caveat. It basically doesn't work in dark mode. The thing is a mirror. Is this good enough to give up on dark mode?
