Like all of you, I am mourning Charlie Kirk. He stood up for his beliefs and died for them at 31, wearing a T‑shirt that read "Freedom." At 31, my life was taken from me for standing up for what I believed in. And Charlie helped me get it back. He never took credit for it but he played a BIG role in my freedom in many ways. The President’s latest Executive Order, summarized by @Reuters below, is a big deal. Bitcoin is slowly being appreciated as the ultimate long-term savings tool—absolutely scarce, accessible to anyone, and immune from the consequences of government debt burdens and currency debasement. Allowing employees to access bitcoin through their workplace savings plans is long overdue.

This is an exciting step forward for #Bitcoin and the broader digital asset ecosystem. Only a small percentage of the world has access to the (relative) stability of the US dollar. Stablecoins have already proven a strong product-market fit for “digital dollars” and this demand will only accelerate with more regulatory clarity in the US. A favorable legal/regulatory regime for #stablecoins will also push forward the adoption of bitcoin as a more modern financial system—one built on digitalized infrastructure—makes it easier for individuals & businesses to transact, save, and invest.

This was a fun conversation covering a lot of ground, including the political landscape for bitcoin, strategic BTC reserves, and how institutional investors are thinking about this space. Thanks to the @OnrampBitcoin team for having me on!
