If “I can’t believe it’s almost December” has already left your mouth, this is your intervention. Most people get dragged through December face-first so all the more reason to create something that isn’t for work, or kids, or anyone else. Just for you. We’re running this little Holiday Challenge at Wondercraft to help you out. here's what you get: • 10K credits (!) to make your video on Wondercraft • 10 days to actually do it (Dec 1–10) • $10,000 in prizes • Live showcase on Dec 15 Go wild! Shoot something ridiculous in your backyard and edit in Wondercraft. Or let Wonda throw ideas at you until one makes you laugh. Show the universe you are still a creative human in December. You in? link in comments

Never been to Red Lobster or experienced whatever “endless shrimp” is but considering taking the fam there solely bc of this quote from their CEO on why the $20 shrimp deal is not coming back: “Because I know how to do math” note to self: “Endless shrimp” could be good name for a punk song.

@bernhardsson Good one. I also do this for Halloween with my big Candy Buyback Program. Good deals for everyone! (I can't be trusted with candy at home so I donate or throw away immediately!)

Had my most genius idea ever yesterday and paid my kids $1 for every toy they got rid of. Cost me $140 but so worth it.

If eating dog food is not part of your company culture, you need to make it mandatory. (Push-ups are optional). You'd be surprised how many companies out there don't actually use their products. (Or worse, I once worked for a startup where the product team didn't even speak to customers). A fellow founder sent me this: The founder of TikTok, Zhang Yiming, took dog-fooding to the next level. "We made it compulsory for all management team members to make their own TikTok videos, and they must win a certain number of 'likes'. Otherwise, they have to do push-ups." I'd personally love this (if done in a fun way of course). We've yet to add punishment, but I wake up to an exploding Slack and Discord with product feedback from my team and our customers. Make your team your toughest customer and everything else gets easier.

Imagine Loom, but for storytelling 🎬 I built Screenity Pro for creators who want more than just a screen recording. Make multi-scene edits, zoom on click, switch layouts, add captions and templates — then share it with a link. 👉 screenity.io/pro

I dismissed the new ChatGPT Atlas browser yesterday as nothing special. Today, I kind of love it. It’s an assistant that sees what you see and can do some simple tasks. My favorite use cases after 24hrs: 1. Summarizing or searching info in YouTube videos. 2. Filtering my ten-a-day kids' school emails for the essential tasks and info (IYKYK). 3. Proofing or rewriting texts (faster than copy-pasting) 4. Identify important unanswered emails. 5. Summarize any article that should've been a tweet. As with every big OpenAI announcement, it will take a cohort of startups to a shallow grave. Now, will OpenAI mine me for training data and workflows. Possibly? But so did Chrome right? I want to try more things. What's a useful Atlas use case you've discovered?
