I think the biggest compliment should go to the management for sticking with him even at their lowest. That goes to tell you the direction the club is heading. They will start winning things.

I’m not even an Arsenal fan, but as a football fan the truth has to be said — Mikel Arteta is clearly underrated. Even the great Guardiola needed 6/7 seasons at Manchester City, with all the money spent on signings, before finally winning the Champions League. Since then, he hasn’t won it again or even reached the semifinal in the last two seasons. Meanwhile Arteta is building something serious with Arsenal. Despite spending far less, he has taken them to back-to-back Champions League semifinals while turning them into genuine contenders again. You don’t have to support Arsenal to admit he’s doing an elite job. Some people are too focused on trophies to see the bigger picture.

@mel0dyishere @iidk35477 Yes. And more importantly they have to be clinical when chances come by because they won't be that many since they'll be doing more defending. And those chances have to be counter attacks. You can't outpass or outpace PSG or Bayern so counters are the remedy.

@mel0dyishere @iidk35477 That's correct. As a matter of fact, both teams leak goals and are very capable of conceding more than one goal if you have clinical finishers. This is where Atletico stands a chance. They're clinical. Arsenal on the other hand are leaking of late and can't seem to score freely.
