@eriknordeus You might want to check WHY there was so much GC as well. GC spikes are more than often a symptom to a problem in your code/architecture (like instancing/destroying too many gameobjects for instance)

Unity's docs claims it is the "default garbage collection behavior in Unity." docs.unity3d.com/Manual/perform… But it wasn't on for me anyway in a new URP project...

Found the annoying bug! It was our dear old friend GC Collect which caused the fps drops. Fixed it by turning on "Use incremental GC" in Project Settings -> Player, which spreads out the process of garbage collection over multiple frames. #unitytips twitter.com/eriknordeus/st…

For no specific reason, I think it’s interesting to share a non exhaustive list of what it means to port a game on another platform, with a multiplatform engine like Unity or Unreal, from an already functional build. It’s a huge financial risk, for a small team.
