Senate Dems just introduced a bill to refund $175B in illegally collected tariffs, about $1,300 per household with a focus on "refunds to small businesses and encourages importers, wholesalers and large companies to pass the refunds on to their customers." It would be smart of them to continue pushing on this.

Dear World, Americans overwhelmingly do not support going to war. In 2024, we voted to end foreign wars and regime change. Americans want affordable health, home, and auto insurance and good healthcare. Americans want rich powerful pedos and rapists strung up on gallows, even if it collapses our own government. They’ve also said wood chippers. (Literally quoting them) Americans want a good paying job and to be able to buy a nice home. Americans just want good trade deals and world peace, and we love to travel to many of your lovely countries. I just thought someone should tell you outside of our ruling class.

@jonkentcomrade We all get the primary to decide the nominee. I wouldn’t vote for him in the primary but I would in the general. Is it worth having another 4 years of a shitshow like this because you sat out or protest voted because of the chosen candidate? FFS, pick the lesser of 2 evils.

For the SAVE Act; When most people divorce they change their name back to their maiden name so she would only have to show her birth certificate and new marriage license. But in your little scenario- First, no State will allow you to have a new marriage license without proof the previous one was annulled, so the third marriage would never happen until they have proof. If they lost the divorce decree after the most recent marriage that would be a big problem because now she would still be married to her first husband and also you. It wouldn’t mean her first marriage never existed because they would still have a record of her first marriage, they would have court fillings of her divorce and would just issue a new divorce decree.

For anyone who’s scared they won’t be able to vote in the midterms if the SAVE ACT is passed: •Go to Vital Records dot org … find your state, and apply for a certified copy of your birth certificate. Problem solved. •If you’re a MARRIED/DIVORCED woman who’s lost their MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE or DIVORCE DECREE…contact the courthouse that issued the certificate/decree, and request a copy. Problem solved. •If you are a NATURALIZED citizen, and don’t have your certificate, apply for a new one. Problem solved. None of these will take more than 9 months to receive. Anyone who can’t cast a vote come the midterms, is because they’re either: •Lazy •Irresponsible •Don’t care enough •Poor time management •All of the above. Congress has Article One Constitutional responsibilities on tariffs. We cannot & should not outsource our responsibilities. As an old fashioned Conservative I know tariffs are a tax on American consumers. I know some disagree. But this debate and vote should occur in the House.
