Okay, 2 things:
1. It's horrid that the U.S. minimum wage has been flat for 18 years. A colossal injustice making generational wealth impossible for the working class. Immoral.
2. But TWENTY-FIVE BUCKS? How can small businesses make that work? Why not increase it $1 each year?

Rich people already have an equivalent of a universal basic income. They don’t work for their money. They can sit around and collect on their passive investments. Any work they do is optional and for personal enjoyment.
They seem to do okay.
