BREAKING: MAGA Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt gets cornered about Donald Trump's nude drawing and letter to Jeffrey Epstein in the infamous "birthday book" and scrambles for an insane excuse. The walls are closing in fast on this issue... "The Epstein files are back in the news because a lot of Americans feel that Jeffrey Epstein's victims never got justice," said a reporter. "Does the president care about these victims? Does he want to deliver more justice for them? And is he willing to meet with them?" "The president cares about victims of all crimes," Leavitt managed to say with a straight face. "And that's why Republicans in the Trump Department of Justice have done more in terms of transparency when it comes to the Epstein case than any prior administration." In truth, the Justice Department under Trump's corrupt Attorney General Pam Bondi is still stonewalling the American people on Epstein. They are refusing to release the full files and we know that Trump's name appears throughout them. A blatant coverup is underway and Leavitt is attempting to gaslight all of us into thinking otherwise. "And why are the Democrats all of a sudden caring about this? It's because they are desperately trying to concoct a hoax to smear the President of the United States," Leavitt continued. "We have seen this time and time again. Ro Khanna and all of these other Democrats, they could have cared about those victims four years ago when Joe Biden was in office. They could have pushed for transparency then." "Unfortunately, the Democrats are using victims as political pawns to try to smear and to push a hoax against the President of the United States," she added. Obviously, fighting for justice for these victims is not the same as using them as political pawns. In fact, just last week several of Epstein's victims held a press conference outside of the Capitol calling for the release of the files. Trump responded by disrupting the event with an aircraft flyover. Later in the press conference, Leavitt was pressed about Trump's drawing and signature in the birthday book. "About the Epstein case, would the White House support a professional handwriting expert review of the document released yesterday to prove that it's not the president's signature?" asked a reporter. "Uh sure, we would support that," said Leavitt. "And in fact, I have already seen many, uh, forensic analysts of signatures coming out. I believe it was The Daily Signal that published a piece with three, uh, separate signature analysts who said that this absolutely was not the president's authentic signature. And we have maintained that position all along." The Daily Signal is a far-right online rag and everything published in it is slavishly pro-Trump. We already know how this playbook goes. If Trump actually does agree to an expert review of his handwriting, it will be by handpicked MAGA hatchet men who can be trusted to lie on his behalf. If a neutral expert concludes that Trump wrote the letter to Epstein, the president and his proxies will smear the expert as a liar and fake news peddler. "The president did not write this letter," Leavitt insisted. "He did not sign this letter and that's why the president's external legal team is aggressively pursuing litigation against The Wall Street Journal and they will continue to." Beyond simply failing the smell test, the White House's narrative makes no sense. The birthday book was relinquished to the House Oversight Committee by Epstein's estate. If Leavitt is claiming that it's not Trump's signature, is she suggesting that Epstein's estate framed Trump? If so, why?
