The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is asking for the public's help in identifying three individuals who vandalized a pride flag displayed outside a central Edmonton establishment. Around 10:54 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, two men and a woman were observed walking southbound on 103 Street towards 102 Avenue. Upon reaching a business, they tore down the pride flag and damaged the attached pole before discarding the flag in a nearby garbage can and departing on foot. EPS stated that given the apparent targeting of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, the EPS Hate Crimes Unit is leading the investigation.
