I’ve been fighting with people about this on X since yesterday. I 1000% agree with this take. Players do not throw games. Winners do not throw games. Draft picks are never a sure thing, but your leadership purposely losing a game so that we can draft “better” players than the guys out their busting their asses and putting themselves on the line for their team? That creates a culture of distrustful, perpetual losers. And all the so-called fans that are clamoring about NOT tanking have zero understanding of what leadership and competition actually look like.

I really don't believe there is a place for old school diehard Giants fans like me anymore in this new era of "fandom." Imagine proclaiming to be a MASSIVE Giants fan and 13 days before the Giants season is to kick off, you're busy publicly fantasizing about the starting QB of the Dallas Cowboys wearing your uniform next season. During the years of Dave Brown or Danny Kanell, the thought of Troy Aikman in a Giants jersey would have put me in the hospital from my organs shutting down. I really don't think people get it. It's not just the losing that changed the culture here. There seems to be no loyalty to this franchise from the next generation. Their fandom is for sale and contingent on what the roster does for them in fantasy. Enjoy the last of the dying breeds while you can. It's over after us. #NYGIANTS #GIANTS100 #DANIELJONES #GIANTS
