@catturd2 There are NOT 3 "Co-Equal" Branches of Federal Government. There are 4 Branches and they have SPECIFIC duties under the Constitution. The 1st Branch, who holds ALL authority, is The People. The other 3 work for The People. The People decide what should be done by Election.

He was protecting his right to a fair criminal trial IF there was to be one. The settlement only stopped the Civil trial not a criminal trial.

Santa Barbara DA was paid off and there was zero credible evidence against Michael Jackson.

The parents could have also continued with the criminal trial and sent Jackson to prison. But they ran off with money
