Fact is we asked everyone to leave well in advance and said we would be increasing pool fees.
A few people shared their views and disagreements with how we did it, which is fine.

@KpunToN00b @Becca06700093 The delegators ada they own still won't be participating to the protocol and will be dormant to rewards. We are still running the infrastructure and producing blocks.
We have been transparent throughout. We aimed to retire week of 7th March, but the delegation was still so high.

@ozzy_pool @Becca06700093 Tomorrow I'll post a historic summary so you can see for yourself just how irregular your current "retirement" behavior is. Also, when a pool retires on-chain, the delegation certificates are voided, and delegator ada rejoins unstaked-ada bucket, it does not sit in pool dormant.

If we retire now the 8 million will still sit in the pool dormant,its currently still contributing to the protocol and block production

@Becca06700093 @ozzy_pool Thanks, the person clearly knows how to submit pool updates as evidenced by fee changes, but there are well-documented steps on how to issue intent to retire (specifying the epoch # when retirement is activated) - that's recorded on-chain and visible to wallet users/in explorers
