Stack the last 90 days of L1 and L2 fees side by side. 92 cents of every dollar went to an L1. L2s were supposed to eat this number, but the opposite happened. • Ethereum fees are up 34.7% over the last 90 days. Most L2s are dow•n 60-90% in the same window. • Tron is the real outlier. $624.9M in fees over 90 days, driven almost entirely by stablecoin transfers and payments. That's roughly 30x what every L2 combined did in the same window. You can't blame the L2 decline on the market bc it's baked into how they work. Cheaper execution, more competition between rollups, and a chunk of value flowing back to L1 settlement every time they post data. If you're looking at chains as businesses right now, the money is still being made on Layer 1.

one thing I wish I knew in my first bull market cycle is to always think the following: > price will not go as high as you think it will > price will go lower than you think it will this would have saved my ass then and has saved my ass now, you can always join in on bull markets if you have the chips to continue playing.

That was a test and ~70% failed Many thought I was engagement farming. Wrong. I put a hidden CTA in my post to check who read it Why? Let me tell you a secret: . Ever seen a post with 50k views but only 25 replies? And compare it to another with 2.5k views and 150 replies? And wonder: Why did the one with more engagement get less reach? I'll tell you why: It's because READ GUYS are 10x more valuable than REPLY GUYS. It's no secret that X favors screen time. It's written in the code. The more that users: > click into a post: "show more" > actually read it > bookmark it The further the post will go. So what's the problem? Current Reply Culture Look I love replies, and I am grateful for EVERY interaction I get on my posts, whether people read it or not. However, yesterdays experiment proved a problem I had long suspected: (Most) Reply guys are not reading. They skim the post, fire off a reply, punch their card, and move onto the next creator. And it will happen again: If you read this far, prove it by putting "golden" in a comment below. Try to make it subtle Unfortunately the current skim and reply behavior is guaranteed to limit a post's reach. As creators we need READERS not just reply guys. How I'm Fixing It 1) Just like I did in my post, I will run small social experiments to test for people paying attention to my content. Small details in the text, maybe even in pictures that only a dedicated READER could catch. 2) The people who pass the test get added to a list (already created, some people made it yesterday) 3) I will reciprocate by reading their posts, bookmarking, and providing responses when I have something to say Somber Reality I cant change the culture of everyone on X Some don't have time to read only want to fire off quick replies (It's okay I still love and appreciate you) However, I'm betting that there are actual readers out there, and I just need to find them. I'm betting that a small community of readers will be more powerful than an army of reply guys. So who wants to be a reader?

I put notifications on for 200+ people But some lose it today. (Read closely if you want in) Here’s what I’ve learned. . 1) The Initial Surge I supported people’s work in the first minutes of publication People noticed, appreciated, and started reciprocating 2) Complacency stage After people got what they wanted out of me (a follow or frequent support), they moved to other creators “Deebs wont notice” 3) Farming stage I continued to put in the work, the very first likes, comments for hundreds of people But realized results stagnated I was posting 1x a day and simultaneously supporting hundreds who never noticed (If you read this far, sneak the words “I wont get complacent”into your comment. Experiment) 4) Rebalancing Stage: I knew for this system to work it needed a way to rebalance So i built a custom dashboard to keep track of my supporters over time, particularly the ones keeping notifications on And BOY some got exposed. Today, they will lose support from me. It’s not personal. It’s just business FINAL THOUGHTS: I don’t believe a creator’s sole focus should be replies. Content is king, always. Content is how you convert followers to community and keep people hooked. However, replies should be used tactically to spread your name and support others. Unfortunately, not everyone deserves your replies. Not everyone has time to reciprocate. Not everyone cares. It’s a hard lesson I come back to often, but I’m glad I have a system now to spot it. Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk. Let’s see who actually did.

@grok @chibuike_nduka @CollinRugg @grok maybe they dropped so sharp because ppl like in this post dont get judget correctly and they let them go with such crime history? Or which statistiks are used to measure these rates?

US crime rates, esp violent ones, dropped sharply in 2025: homicides -21% from 2024 per Council on Criminal Justice data from 40 cities, back toward pre-2020 levels. Still higher than peer nations due to family instability (high single-parent rates), fentanyl/opioid epidemics, urban gangs/poverty concentration, and policies releasing repeat juvenile offenders (like this 18yo with prior aggravated assault charges). Multifactor issue, no single fix.

NEW: Texas teen shoots woman in the neck who was visiting her friend with cancer before stealing the car belonging to the woman with cancer. 18-year-old Darius DeWayne Hall has been arrested for allegedly shooting Marietta Allison in northwest Houston. The friend with cancer, Cassie Daniel, has shared a post detailing what happened. "There wasn’t any parking, so Marietta had driven around the block to find a parking spot, and we heard the gunshot," Daniel said. "We were later told that her heart stopped immediately when [Hall] shot her in the neck." "The man took her purse, stole my car key, and took the car." Hall was under juvenile suspension for multiple previous charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to court records. Another avoidable death.

people get overly concerned about “good prompting” vs “bad prompting” when they utilise LLMs, and it puts them off using it. here’s the truth… the models you use today are not the same ones you used in 2023 and they’re rapidly improving every single month. they’re designed to be useful for you so plain english prompts until you get your desired outcome doesn’t just suffice, it does what you want it to and this will only improve. whilst knowing what you want is important you can also utilise ai to actually nail this process for you. so what is important? context engineering is. prompts aren’t the be all and end all. don’t panic, just go and use ai and become a context maximalist init.
