We need to take behavioral management cues from coaches. It should be as unthinkable for a student to lash out and misbehave in a classroom as it is to talk back and ignore their football coach’s directions.

Teachers can spend every second of the day being productive and still feel like they are not doing enough. We need more realistic expectations or more prep time. Preferably both.

When children witness violence in the home, it is considered emotional abuse. Allowing students to witness chronic violence in the classroom should also be considered emotional abuse. Why the double standard? #onted #cdned #edchat

If we don't start taking care of our teachers, soon there's going to be no one left to take care of our students.

Teachers, remember you're on the same team. Admin shouldn’t be the only ones to encourage, support, & inspire. Motivate each other! Build each other up, including staff and your administrators. Celebrate each other’s successes!
