Over the past months, my XP on Twitter has been slowly but steadily degrading. I'm starting to unfollow here people also active on mastodon, and follow them there instead. Not sure if I'll ever get rid of this Twitter account, we'll see 🤷‍♂️

Rails developers may be interested to know Capybara, the Ruby test framework, was named as a bigger, better version of Webrat, its predecessor. The rodent theme comes from Ruby Acceptance Testing and, well, what's a bigger, better rodent than a Capybara?

I just want a way to share my favorite pics (those I find worth sharing with the world) without too much hassle and without giving up too much data to our dear tech giants. Maybe also share some private albums with relatives, but that could be an entirely different tool

So what's left? @500px maybe? Or could @PixelFed be a viable alternative today? Or maybe even turn my personal #blog in a platform where I can also share photos? 🤔

Not sure what to do with my photographs. I used to rely on @Flickr quite a lot, but it's been the same since 2000, and far from being the greatest solution. I won't join meta's @instagram, been off from Facebook for 10 years, so I won't go back in this environment.
