@elonmusk That was 2016. I felt the same back then. Not so sure now

@ChesterRaces my father has been going to chester races for 70 YEARS. Yes 70. He has been to every meeting every year, and has been a member for most of that time. He is in his 90s now and still goes. I think it would be great publicity for you to recognise this some way.

Mate Rimac (CEO of Rimac and Bugatti) on @elonmusk saying Tesla's new Roadster will be able to hit 0-60 mph in under 1 second: "It is possible with thrusters; We did the simulation. Problem is, you release the air in two to three seconds and then you have a lot of dead weight that you are carrying around (tanks, compressor, valves, nozzles etc.)," Rimac continues. "Same with fans—they just give you more grip but you need something like 30,000 newton-meters on the wheels to accelerate below one sec 0-100 km/h, which means you need massive motors, inverters, gearboxes, driveshafts, etc. Rimac also notes that the car has to be "super light." "So thrusters are really the only way to go," he says. "But they bring a lot of downsides as well." Source: facebook.com/mate.rimac/pos…

@MilMileBattery @elonmusk It's a known tesla issue. They won't fix it. Car has signal but can't join tesla network for validation.
