The good general I believe has forgotten how useless the Track2 is, apart from sipping on expensive alcohol and dining in big hotels, the format achieves nothing.
The recent comments by the RSS leader is also as naive and forgetful of realities as any other.
These people can only make comments as they don’t influence anything in the politic of the game today. Their comments, however, at best are condemnable.
The people of this country have had enough of this nonsense for the past decades and are happy with the current posture. Last I checked the people’s opinion matters.

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested five accused persons and conducted searches at several locations across the country in connection with the alleged irregularities and paper leak related to the NEET UG-2026 examination. CBI had registered a case on 12 May 2026 on the basis of a written complaint received from the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India, regarding alleged irregularities and paper leak in the conduct of the NEET UG-2026 examination. The FIR was registered for offences including criminal conspiracy, cheating, criminal breach of trust and other relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), the Prevention of Corruption Act, and the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024. So far, the CBI has arrested five accused persons in the case — three from Jaipur, one from Gurugram and one from Nashik. Several other suspects are currently being examined.

Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari did not even wait 24 hours. In a massive midnight administrative surgical strike, over 40 top IPS officers and District Magistrates loyal to the previous regime have been abruptly transferred.
This is the brutal reality of the Indian bureaucratic system. The police and administration are rarely loyal to the Constitution and they become private armies for the ruling party. The moment the government changes, the entire police brass has to be purged to secure the state.

Reuters: A large Chinese-owned refined oil tanker was attacked near the entrance of the Strait of Hormuz reportedly with China owner and crew marked on the vessel. What actions is China taking to ensure the safety of its ships and crew?
Spokesperson of MFA: The tanker in question is sailing under the flag of the Marshall Islands with Chinese crew onboard. The vessel has not reported any crew casualties.
China is deeply concerned that a large number of vessels along with their crew have been caught in the conflict and stranded in the strait. We believe it is in the common interest of regional countries and the international community to resume unimpeded passage through the strait and ensure the safety of civilian vessels and crew members.
We call for concrete steps from relevant parties to prevent deterioration of the situation.
China stands ready to work with the international community and make sustained efforts to promote peace talks and deescalation.
