Thanks everyone for the attention, but I think it is time to put this matter to rest. I have already confirmed the details with @igoryuzo. The coin launched on @bankrbot may have just been a joke from a community member, and I do not intend to claim any proceeds from it. I also genuinely hope people will stop scraping others’ wallets and doing things like this without permission. My notifications and DMs completely exploded today while I am still rushing a submission deadline, and waking up to deal with such a mess has honestly become a huge burden for me. I do not think there was anything wrong with what @jun_song did. But for me personally, I do not want any of my work to be turned into a memecoin or used to scam others, and I certainly do not want any of my social accounts to become tools for traders to profit from. If you only follow me for profit, this is probably not the right place for you. I do believe researchers, especially independent or underrepresented ones, need funding and sponsorship. The support I received before was genuinely helpful for my compute, Mac, and conference travel costs. But if anyone wants to sponsor my work, I do not want that support to come from a primary-market battle. Going forward, I will not consider turning any of my GitHub repos into coins to raise sponsorships, and I will not use my social accounts for anything related to crypto trading, promotion, or endorsement. I hope research can stand for something good and beautiful, not for this kind of endless fighting. We should also have our principles. If you genuinely want to support my work, you can give my projects a star, read and share my research, or directly sponsor me instead of doing it through claim fees and speculative trading.
