There cannot be development unless there is peace and security. That’s why Africa needs at least $110bn to adapt to #climatechange. Tackling these insecurity challenges that are driven by climate change means that obligation to developing countries in Africa have to be met #COP27

I respect the decision of people not to go to this cop27, but we need to understand the global south activists who are attending are putting much at risk so that they can hold the people setting fire to our planet accountable. That is incredibly brave,
