why do we care what people use to level their jobs? it's quite literally THEIR sub they are PAYING for, who cares how they decide to spend their time and money? It literally has 0 impact on YOU and how you play. 99.9% of the time, the leveling is done through the trust system aka NPCS, so they more than likely aren't in your dungeons, and on the VERY VERY RARE occasion they are, you can just *kick and replace in 3 seconds*. Not to mention you can buy a level boost in the store and a story skip, even if you just started the game! It makes no difference. If a player who used the plogon to level their jobs goes into your raids and is trash, they'd still be trash if they did it themselves because manually leveling your job does not magically make you good at it. That takes research and a fundamental understanding that dungeons do not teach you. This is the most ridiculous thing I have seen. The only valid point it is against ToS, but so is everything else mod/plugin related so you better be gung-ho about everything non-vanilla and against the buyable skips in the mogstation.

@Apphelium @zockerteam3 @saabtuli @TiffanyMayCry Fflogs folks tried once, many years ago, and they found a way to detect a rotation bot user. However all their proof is invalid because fflogs uses ACT stuff, and act isn’t valid proof since it is also third party. So nothing happened

i am currently level 100 in every single class in ffxiv. > unlocks a level 50 dungeon from ARR.

@TheRadicalEcks @saabtuli @ritostime I know they won’t. Nor do I think they care about any of this. Im just stating that many players are like “OMG GOING AGAINST TOS IS BAD!!!”, meanwhile they use ACT. If they were to implement some anticheat, act would be gone too.

@pantisxiv @saabtuli @ritostime The way ACT works is by reading a text file the game writes into and processing the data the game is outputting in a raw form. It's also already banned on paper. YoshiP has said that any attempt to detect addons like it would be such an egregious invasion of privacy they won't.

There has been a glitch for YEARS now that if you logout inside the duty, you remain with online status until you log back in Also, what kind of paranoid weirdo vigilante keeps monitoring their friends/FC/LS so they can report them lol

@Jaridavin @latttle @ritostime Nobody is seeing because they’re doing it with trusts. Npcs won’t report you. They act upon reports. And people outside have no way of knowing youre doing it. Not even fc members. If someone logs out inside a duty, they appear as online until they log back in.
