Pretty much. Powerscaling is just storytelling. Not every story relies on it but the ones that do have to take it into account. Have you watched Creed? That has powerscaling. Adonis loses to Drago and has to train and come back stronger and more skilled. That’s powerscaling.

I think people who reject powerscaling for stories where it matters such as Shonen series or invincible have worse interpretations and understandings of the narrative of those stories

The fastest runner could have the slowest jab. Now amplify that with magical powers and the jab becomes light speed while the run is MUCH slower because the amp is combat oriented

@dirtydan591 @counterpartLOW Except a lot of the times these characters tire themselves out fighting distances of dozens to hundreds of feet. when added up the length of the fight might only be a mile or so of total movement. Burst movement in terms of distance travelled not time.

YoshiP has said that any attempt to detect addons like it would be such an egregious invasion of privacy they won't.
