Yeah, when the party owns everything and the workers are functionally slaves… Yes, very efficient and vertically integrated 🙄 I genuinely wonder how retarded commie stans like you manage to look at the working conditions of the average Chinese factory worker, and genuinely still think that communism is superior to capitalism in any facet, especially worker protections.

@MightBeUrDaddy8 @RnaudBertrand you’re describing industrial policy, and the us has been doing it for at least a century. if china 'weaponizing' subsidies is a problem to you, then lets talk how the USA dumps tens of billions of dollars into its oil industry to enforce its dominance

There’s a big difference between economic protectionism, and what China is doing. They’ve actively Weaponized subsidizing their state owned companies to out compete other nations domestic production. That’s why all of the western solar companies fell apart, because they couldn’t compete with Chinese solar panels, because they can’t produce solar panels at a loss, (losing money on every unit sold) and stay in business. Meanwhile, a Chinese firm can sell a panel at a fraction of what it cost to produce it, because the CCP is sending them a fat check regardless. The point of those Chinese firms is not to produce quality products or generate profits… It’s to poison their enemies/competitors domestic industry. It’s not a bug, it’s the main feature of the system.

“The best products” pretty much every Chinese export product is propped up by the state. It allows them sell products so cheap they can operate at a loss that legitimate businesses in actual capitalist countries can’t compete with in the short term. They drive those other countries domestic industry into the dirt and then use it as political/economic leverage 🙄

@DA1740861983991 @badwolf70 @shaunrein it literally doesn’t matter, if you let one country do it you’re giving everyone else a green light to do it too. if that’s the kind of world you want to live in then that is fucked up

NGL Trudeau's life is insane. Like him or not he's lived one of the most interesting lives in Canadian history I feel like the next generation or two are going to read into him & not think his life was real The only person I know with a more interesting life is Christopher Lee

I want people to look at these pictures and remember that Justin was PM for 10 years. This guy was a ruthless politician with a vice like grip on the Canadian Liberal leadership and saw off 3 Tory challengers and now he’s at coachella with his pop star gf.

@PaulMN_Official @Lalisalisa2025 @valawakened Like hives, they change their point of views in unison. No dissent is allowed. It seems lately, the more woke and the more absurd the view is, the better it is for liberals. I guess anxiety ridden and full of hate is the norm for liberals today. Enjoy, I guess?😂

Under capitalism, it's normal to let children go hungry, let banks force people out of their homes, let sick people die for lack of access to healthcare. But the idea that billionaires could just be less rich, not poor, not struggling, just less rich, is considered insane.

Honda’s CEO warned after visiting China: “We have no chance against this,” referring to China’s ultra-fast, low-cost auto supply chain. Other leaders are also alarmed: Ford’s CEO warned China could “put us all out of business,” and Toyota said, “Unless things change, we will not survive.” Source: Motor1

@pantsuffwx @QuackyPoo @blacknredtext Not if your house and car are owned which isn’t something that can happen under socialism. If you don’t have an income under every modern capitalist country you qualify for free low income government healthcare.

@QuackyPoo @blacknredtext Socialism is worse. It’s all of that plus it’s now illegal to not show up to work and all upward mobility that means you even have a chance of getting to retire early is destroyed.

@nikicaga On that note, I feel like Indonesia has to have one of the most lopsided population size vs. cultural output ratios out there. It’s a humongous country but nobody thinks about it at all. You rarely even see it discussed in geopolitical discussions as a regional power.

a freeway costs $50-200 million per mile to build and we don't ask it to turn a profit. a train line proposes the same price tag and suddenly it needs to be self-funding by 2031. the infrastructure we subsidize reveals what we value and we have chosen the car every single time
