when i started doing CRO for our brands i got it so genuinely wrong. used to think CRO is about having a "Ships in 24h to {{IP Address City}}", minimizing the checkbox and generating 200 AI image reviews. the reality though: CRO is not about the landing page. CRO starts with an Ad. the entire thing from the first point of contact with the user till the purchase is the CRO. it's pretty much like a puzzle, one must assemble the smooth and coherent journey for the user. aka if creative and ad copy have already introduced the product, if user is already solution aware, it's only natural for the user to expect to see the PDP or any other kind of a direct offer. coherency between all the elements in the user journey is the core aspect of CRO imo. at the very least that's what we've found.
