This woman rented an Airbnb in France, after she arrived from the airport, she goes upstairs to open the French door with the key the owner provided.
For the life of her, every time she turns it and tried to open the the door, it wouldn’t open. She assumes it’s broken, calls the landlord who then questions her if she’s American. He says he will get to it in the morning, in the meantime she has to check into a hotel. She wants a refund for the night she couldn’t stay there but he’s refusing and claiming it’s user error. Should he have to pay her back for the hotel she had to rent?

Misleading, at least for the US.
Humane Slaughter Act requires stunning via captive bolt or gunshot prior to slaughter which either renders the animal brain dead or instantly kills the animal. Exsanguination happens afterwards.
There is 1 exception: Animals used in Kosher/Halal processing.
However, I doubt a vegan will go protest a Synagogue or Mosque.

i have witnessed this trend a lot in rich people, including myself. as your net worth increases so does your expectation of how the world should work around you. most notably, rich people try to buy their way out of "having to queue or wait for things"
if you pay $1000 a meal, you expect the service to be perfect
if you pay $2000 a night in nomade tulum on nye, you expect your room to be ready the second you pull up and not for them to take another hour to get it ready
as a rich person changing the mindset here is definitely important, but what’s more important is that there is alpha in this knowledge
you can make a lot of money by tailoring to the rich. the main difference between serving poor people and rich people is that poor people want value for their money and rich people just want exactly what they asked for, which mainly is things to be fast and efficient
and they are willing to pay a disproportionally high premium for those that provide that
i love working for rich people. they tend to be much more hands off. a poor person will call you 5x for small things, demand refunds, etc while my rich clients mostly never check and just want to be notified when the job is done

- tradi, instis and retail will finally enter crypto en masse via treasuries and etfs
- my target for bitcoin is $250k and for eth $10k
- i am dca’ing out from eth ath, in my experience it’s way better to sell along the way than to get stuck on the way down
- alts will temporarily pump, but for no more than 1 - 3 months before everyone overspeculated and starts to exit back into btc, eth or sol
- 1 or 2 new/old metas will emerge and i will try to deploy capital into them in the first 2 weeks after they emerge and sell within 1-2 months. new crypto metas usually don’t survive long at this stage of the cycle
- remember to stay humble during the next/final euphoria phase. it’s easy to think that prices will always continue to rise when everyone is euphoric, but it always comes down, especially alts
