> Triglycerides/HDL ratio above 3: metabolic dysfunction confirmed
> Waist circumference trending up: visceral fat accumulating before the scale moves
The A1C was a lagging indicator. The real story was in three markers nobody ran.

Over 30 and don't strength train?
You're losing 3-8% of your muscle mass per decade.
Just because you haven't noticed doesn't mean it isn't happening.
The good news: you can build significant muscle at home, in about an hour per week.
No gym required. No commute. Just bodyweight exercises on your schedule.
Beginners: train each muscle 2x per week, 2 sets per workout. Take all sets close to failure. Easy sets don't build muscle.
You can do more, but this is enough to start.

@ritujoon2j I once fought with an influencer or whoever cos she was filming during the immigration line! I was right behind her coming in her video, plus there was a clear board saying do not film! They would not care about such social norms...anything for views!

I was having dinner at a restaurant in Bangalore when a man kept filming the place for his vlog.
I wasn’t comfortable being in his video, so I asked him to stop. He moved away but continued filming from a distance. I finished my food quickly and left.
I don’t know how to deal with people like this, because they always say it’s “for their channel.”

@theisaacmed I am a non tech person. As much as don't know what's VS of VS code. Claude helped me build a website page of my idea, helped me market it, and currently we are in the midst of making it live - moving it from the local host. Seeing my idea translate to reality was so much fun!

You don’t understand.
I was using Claude to help me set up some formulas for an excel sheet that I use to forecast revenue.
Claude suggested we build a web app instead due to limited excel functionality.
I then spent 3 hours standing up a full web app that is an interactive cashflow model that is fully custom to my business and has more robust capabilities than excel.
It sends me a slack message if things dip below a certain $ amount. Flags me if I need to review something that our team is doing.
It auto populates data from Quickbooks and sends an email to our internal bookkeeper if there is an error.
I am not technical. It walked me through setting up a db. Setting up Vercel. I can ask for any feature I want and it can seemingly add it and walk me through updating GitHub.
I can ask questions. It doesn’t get annoyed
It feels like a video game.
